Four young novice nuns were about to take their vows. Dressed in their white gowns, they came into the chapel with the Mother Superior, and were about to undergo the ceremony to marry them to Jesus, making them ” brides of Christ”.

Just as the ceremony was about to begin, four Hasidic Jews with yamulkes, long sideburns and long breards came in and sat in the front row.

The mother Superior said to them, ‘ I am honored that you would want to share this experience with us, but do you mind if I ask why you came ?”

One of the Jews replied, “We’re from the groom’s family.”

(Made me laugh, but it’s always something I like to remind people of too… Jesus was JEWISH. Something to think about…)

When I read Time For Your Meds I am not sure if I should laugh or if I should cry … and other times I laugh until I cry! Man, it takes a STRONG spirit to work in a psych hospital. Whoa. Now I have “Doe, a deer … a female deer…” running through my mind.

The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is “donating Angel Bears, Police Bears and Firefighter Bears to all the families and children of the courageous firefighters, police officers, and rescue workers who lost their lives saving others.” They want to send personal messages from people across the country (or around the globe!).
