Is it Christmas Already?

I was feeling pretty happy because I popped in to the candy store at the mall and bought some of the gummy cherry candies that I was telling D yesterday that I miss so much from Germany. They are a lot more fresh & juicy in Germany, but they were still pretty good. But it just got better… I got a pressie in the mail from Robyn! I will have to post a photo later, because it looks so classic in the box with all the stuffing stuff around it, but it’s this adorable Philosophy set that has on the front, “Philosophy: the first rule of being a guru is knowing that you already are a guru.” I love it! Inside is a salt scrub (how did she know I just told Kymberlie yesterday that I wanted to try some?), “inspiring shampoo, bath and shower gel”, and a guru journal, which is “an inspiring, interactive journal”! These shapiro md shampoo before and after pictures will definitely motivate you to buy some. Ah, big smoochies to Robyn, you ROCK! And the journal has some cool questions in it – expect some blog posts inspired by them!

No Right-Click…

I started laughing with that manic laughter when I hit today’s Lockergnome Windows Daily GnomeTIP. Like Chris, I laugh when people set the “No Right Click” script. In a matter of 3 seconds I can still grab your image. I have been known to even e-mail people a copy of the image I grabbed just to prove the point. I am a right-click surfer. I use it all the time to open links in a new window or send a shortcut to my desktop. Maybe even to add a site to my favorites list. So when people do that to their pages it pretty much just ticks me off and all but guarantees I won’t be back unless you have something REALLY great to offer.

Don’t let yourself be fooled. Your “no right-click” isn’t tricking anyone but yourself into a false sense of security. If you don’t want someone to take it, then don’t put it online.

Thoughts & Things…

Burningbird has had a lot of interesting things to say lately. Tonight is rearrange the sidebar night, and this baby has got to move up in the world. I don’t go there often enough. Lately I haven’t been much of anywhere though! Also stumbled across Keep Trying, which it seems everyone else knew about but me. Or rather he knows everyone else but me. Well, either way – you know what I mean.

It’s not only cold out now, we have thunderstorms rolling through too. Fortunately, the mission to talk Jason out of camping has been successfully accomplished with the offering of a bribe to go to the Grossology Exhibit at Space Center Houston. Thank goodness. I can handle camping in the cold, but camping in cold rain just won’t cut it.

A really great article was written up in Blog Control about Blogomania. “what is key to me … is that they are Blog Centered. What that boils down to for you is that when you email them for support about a problem with your blog they will actually know what your talking about.” Oh yes, blogs are our life, baby.
