We’ve all met online, but here’s your chance to participate in International Blog MEETUP Day on July 18, 2002. Check to see if there is one in your area!
Month: June 2002
Now You Can Comment Too!
Shel has turned on the comments on our posts over at Blogwhore: the Webgame. Here’s your chance to jump in to the fray and speak your mind! The list of contestants is getting shorter … things are going to heat up soon! I got a vote again last night… big meanie. Who on earth could want me out of the game?
The Gold Box…
So, have you seen the Gold Box Offers over at Amazon? Yesterday was the first time I saw my Gold Box, and the offers weren’t too bad. Things I would actually consider buying. Today? This time the Gold Box wasn’t quite so good to me. They offered me (a single female) the chance to buy a Men’s Norelco razor. Why? I have no need for a men’s razor. Nothing on my wishlist would even make you think that I need one of those. Oh well, at least they offered me Kate & Leopold, although I passed it up too. Along with the $112 wine bottle opener – for $112, that thing better be doing a lot more then just opening my bottle of wine!
Hot & Sticky…
Old Spice ranked the 50 Sweatiest Cities in the Country. Why, I wonder? Oh well, the point of this post is this. Guess where my favorite city (note sarcasm) ended up at on the list? Yes, Houston is #4. Well – I’ll give Houston this much – after being in Tucson last week where you felt like you were going to burst into flame when you went outside, Houston seemed nice and cool this week at a cozy 93 degrees! Reeeeaaaal American Heros…
They are mean and pick on the goofs in our society, but I still love the Budweiser Real American Heroes commercials. I almost never listen to the radio, so it’s a nice treat to find them online! [via Statia]
