I realized the other day that I never posted the haircolor photos after I made my hair dark ash brown.

Just for Cis, I thought I would post my motivational photos of the furniture move, the mess that I made today, and I’ll update it over the next few days with my progress to clean it all up.

Some people rearrange their furniture all of the time. I am not one of those people. But I decided I had had enough – I was tired of my TV blocking my built-in bookcase. My hutch that holds my TV had been placed in the dining room when I moved in here because their was no room in the living room. That is – until today. I emptied out the hutch (where am I going to put all of this stuff now?), rearranged the furniture so that the couch is in front of the window, and moved my TV back in to the hutch where it belongs. No small task, considering I had to move the Tivo, the cable box, the DVD player and the receiver – plus the TV itself – and get everything hooked back up.
I haven’t moved the VCR yet, and I’m afraid I don’t remember how to hook it back in to the system! Oops! I had bought new cords to hook it in to the receiver before, and I have to hook it back in to the Tivo so I can record things off of it. And there is some way that I can hook it in so that I can play a video while the Tivo records something else. Hmmm… That may not be too important – I think I’ve watched two video tapes in the past year!
Last season was the first season that I really got in to watching “Third Watch”. One of the actresses is married to a NYC firefighter in real life, and so they did a special September 11th episode last year. They postponed the start of the season to film it even. I forgot to set the Tivo though, and they haven’t aired them this summer on NBC – so it was a real treat to discover that they are airing them this weekend on A&E. It’s a 2 part episode, and they are on back-to-back right now. I think they are on again later tonight or else tomorrow night. Tivo is recording them for me right now.
Yesterday they aired 13 hours of “Law & Order” on A&E, and think tomorrow is when they are airing all of the episodes of “24” on one of the other stations. I love it when they do holiday marathons like this!
On my never-ending quest to get all of the boxes of stuff out of my apartment from
The City Suites, I went through 3 more boxes of random things last night. Where did all this stuff come from? Did I really think I needed to save all of these magazines? I’m now up to about 8 bags of paper that needs to go to the recycling bin. And I’m nowhere near done.
At least 95% of the stuff is going out the door. Bank statements and paycheck stubs are about the only thing I am keeping. It feels so good to be free!
