The interview today seemed to go well. The job sounds interesting, the firm sounds good, I think I would be a good fit… all the usual. Now it’s the waiting game. I was the first person they interviewed (ah! The pressure!) and the office manager wasn’t sure if they would be interviewing more or just jumping right in – they really need to get the position filled! So as soon as I know something, I’ll pass on the status update on interview ver. 2.0!

I also have another placement agency to call tomorrow, and today I got my hand on the Houston Business Journal’s “Book of Lists” which includes the top 40 placement agencies in Houston – so I’ll be working on them too!

If you are one of the many people that have left comments in the past few days – I owe you an e-mail, and it’s coming soon. Promise! I spent most of the day working on Blogomania items and then spent the evening at my parent’s house – dinner and good chat time. It was great!

Now I have my first “real” interview since I was laid off on December 2nd tomorrow. I can’t believe it took me a month, but with the holidays it’s not surprising. I am also temping tomorrow & Friday, so I won’t be around during the day. If I leave a comment at your site during the day it means I am cell phone surfing again – I’m returning to the job location where I was last week, and there isn’t a lot to do there.

Boy, am I nervous about this interview! Eek!

Normally I leave the Christmas tree up all the way to Epiphany, but I don’t think it’s going to happen this year. The cats have discovered the ornaments. So far there haven’t been any broken ones, but I don’t feel like taking chances! Maybe I should just leave the tree up without any ornaments on it – just the pretty sparkling lights…
