A New Pad…

Metapad “is a small, fast (and completely free) text editor for Windows 9x and Windows NT with similar features to Microsoft Notepad but with many extra (and rather useful) features. It was designed to completely replace Notepad since it includes all of Notepad’s features and much, much more.” Looks pretty cool so far! Check it out!

Looks nice. I think I’ll be sticking with my good ‘ole EditPad, though. Me and it have been through it all together and it’s never failed me. I have to be faithful to something other than my husband. 🙂

Ahh yes… Chris’s favorite… Metapad. The little Gnomester turned me on to it a couple of years ago, and while I still prefer UltraEdit for doing the newsletters, most of my other basic text editing is done in Metapad. I just replace notepad.exe with the Metapad executable (renaming it) and I always have it handy. Very highly recommended…

Hey Christine,

I’ve only got a few minutes before my taxi arrives, but I wanted to drop a line telling you that your new ‘Brown & White layout is broken in IE 6. The left sidebar seems to have some broken PHP inclusions on lines 51, 89, 96 and 104.

Thanks for leaving me a comment on my site, means a lot to silly old me.

‘See’ you when I get back.

Bye!

Hey Christine… don’t forget, MetaPad supports transparency, so it can be supercool when you have a rad wallpaper!

BUTTTTT… printing could be better… at least for me.

Peace!
