Mar sent me books! We bartered, thanks to her Barter, Baby! project. Whoo hoo! I got “Summer Sisters” by Judy Blume, “Angela’s Ashes” by Frank McCourt, and “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant. *Sweet!* And an FYI – if Mar says her books are in “Excellent” condition, she is NOT kidding! Wow! Mar, are you sure you even read these? *wink* I know she did, but they are in mint condition, the spines barely creased at all.

What a great idea! When you read Angela’s Ashes, you should post some sort of reaction on your ‘blog. It’s something I’ve long meant to read, but never gotten around to.

“Red Tent” got a lot of interesting coments from my Women’s League mailing list. I even have a discussion group worksheet for it… alas, it ain’t electronic.
I have both “Summer Sisters” and “Angela’s Ashes”. They are both excellent books. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
