Bundle Up, Baby!

Like Jen mentioned earlier today, it’s about to turn freakin’ cold here in Houston. I know that some of you are used to it, but just last week it was hot. I had the air conditioner going full speed to deal with the heat every time I got in my car, and I even got the professional ac repair services to help me add a little ore power to my homes’ AC. Coming soon? According to weather.com it’s currently 49 degrees, but it’s going to get down to 46 tonight. Now check out the next few days:

Thursday: High 58 / Low 29
Friday: High 47 / Low 27
Saturday: High 57 / Low 30
Sunday: High 61 / Low 40
Monday: High 65 / Low 43

Last winter I don’t think it froze more than 2 times. I didn’t even have to haul out blankets to cover my plants. It doesn’t look like I’m getting off quite so easily this year. Three nights in a row with lows before freezing? I’m screwed. It’s been so hot down here I don’t even own a winter coat! Brrrrr…

Someone should alert the media though – I know why it’s getting so cold here. Hell is freezing over. I finally watched Kymberlie’s copy of “Ocean’s 11” today – and I loved it! What a great movie! Absolutely fantastic!

ROFLMAO! Oh, dear! I shouldn’t laugh, because I know you’re not used to temps that cold.

You should try a winter up here in the Catsills (per Unisys Weather):

Thurs. high 20/low 7
Fri. high 22/low 10
Sat. high 22/low 2
Sun. high 22/low 10
Mon. high 22/low 10
Tues. high 18/low 12
Wed. high 15/low 7

Now … ain’tcha glad ya live in Texas? I’ve been complaining this week that I wish the temps would get up to freezing! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, I don’t mind cold at all if it’s cold all the time. I love it – but right now I have no winter coat and I’m not about to spend $100+ on one when I’ll only wear it this week and a few more times this year. Plus it is relative – when you’re used to the heat it’s annoying when it’s suddenly cold like this!

This morning, the news was reporting that it would be in the high 50’s, so I was thinking it wouldn’t be too cold. Wrong. And tomorrow is going to be worse.

As for Oceans 11, was Brad Pitt Mr. Hottie or what?!

*gasp* Forty-six?!? Man, that’s ten degrees warmer than our daily highs around here the past few days! ๐Ÿ˜‰ (BTW, unrelated, but I thought you might want to know: Harry Potter 5 is coming out June 21 ๐Ÿ˜‰

Your right….”Hell Has Froze Over”….and it’s located in Wisconsin. To warm up I took a cyber beach trip to Galveston via the Big Pink Cookie. Nice pics….BTW, I’ll send you one of my hundreds of winter coats.

After months of mild weather and temps in the 50’s and 60’s (which is unusual for Nebraska) we finally got some cold weather and snow to go with it! Brr! But I am glad we got at least some snow this winter. If it’s going to be gray and winter-y we should at least have snow to make it look at pretty-like.

Hehe…I know everyone’s already chimed in, but I would KILL for highs in the upper 50s & low 60s right now (ok, so Friday would be a bit cooler, but it’s still not bad). I’m at the point now where it’s PAINFUL to go outside. All I want to do is go for a nice walk. ๐Ÿ™ I was just thinking earlier today that I can’t wait until late March/early April when it’s around 60 degrees – I have to wait until then!

Our temperatures in Montreal are in celsius, but I was watching an American channel today and they mentioned us so I can tell you that today our temperature was 1F and with the wind it felt like -11F.

Gah.
