Ho-Ho-Holidays…

I’ve taken a ton of photos lately, but I don’t have time to post them all. Heck – I’ve got gifts to wrap, clothes to dry, and I need to do a ton of other things! But these were too good not to share. (Pop-up windows for photo links and thumbnails!)

You see, Saturday night after decorating the tree (that’s one of my favorite ornaments) and eating dinner, Mike & I took Jason and went to the subdivision nearby to check out the lights before we opened Christmas gifts. It’s mandatory that every house there decorates, and every street has a theme. Some are just pretty – but some are WAY overboard! So what do I do? Stop traffic just so I can take photos for you!

The stars house has a margarita glass outside. How appropriate is that? *wink* Then there was the huge Statue of Liberty. That was simply breathtaking. The other patriotic house was quite pretty. But my favorite? Bob the Builder! Check out those huge figurines in the front yard!

I thought you would enjoy. A special holiday treat for you. If you had been here, we would have been drinking margaritas as we cruised the subdivision, simply cracking up. You would have loved it. Hope you & your family have a wonderful holiday. May Santa make all of your dreams come true!

the picture of you and Mike is very adorable! 🙂 Merry Christmas, Christine! and i’ll definitely let you know about Thursday’s lunch plans. it didn’t even phase anyone that i was gone for an hour and a half on Monday. 😛

Hehe, I went touring the lights around Richmond with my friends on Saturday!! That’s one of our traditions that I wouldn’t trade for anything … it’s a great way of having fun. 😀 And there are some incredibly crazy houses out here. 😉 (Too bad, I forgot my camera that night *gasp*)

I can’t believe how much your life has changed in the last year — ‘member spending New Year’s on the phone watching “Shrek”? And all for the better — you look positively glowing in that photo! Merry Christmas to you and yours…and the happiest of 2003’s ahead!

But I WAS there! We WERE drinking margaritas!! We WERE laughing it up!… or so I dreamed. Well, you can dream of being here with the snow, and I’ll dream of being there in the warmth with the margaritas! How’s that! 😉
Merry Christmas!!

I’m a bit late, but I hope your Christmas was wonderful! Love the pic of you & Mike 🙂 Oh, and remember that there is NO SUCH THING as way overboard when it comes to Christmas lights! Silly Christine!!

Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures. Looking at all the houses decorated is one of my favorite things about Christmas. We have a couple of parks in UT that do lights every year and it’s so warm and enchanting. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
