I just accidentally closed my main Firefox browser window with a lot of tabs open while leaving a small comment window open. Losing all of my tabs in the process.
Want to guess how many tabs I had open? Anyone?
51 tabs. I know because it warned me before I shut the window. Before I realized that the pop-up comment window was still open.
Many tabs which were things I needed to bookmark but had not done yet because I need to close Firefox to record the latest Pointy Sticks podcast.
51 freakin’ tabs. I could just cry…

The new release of FF allows for that kind of mistake. And when you go to reopen it, it asks if you want to restore previous session.
I’ve done this myself quite a few times.
51??? That’s ridiculous!
look under the “History” menu – there’s a thing called “recently closed tabs”
Its been a lifesaver.
The Firefox Session Saver Plugin – https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/436/ – is good for this too.
And I thought I was bad at opening multiple tabs! The new computer is making me more adventurous but I still think 25 or so would be my max.
Opera has had a feature for remembering tabs from the previous session for some time now. It’s about time Firefox caught up. 😉
🙁 Been there…but mine was while I was switching blogger templates.
There was swearing involved.
51? Holy Cow!!!
I do that all the time in Mozilla. My intention when I right-click on a tab is to “close this tab” but often I click “close other tabs” by mistake! 🙂
