Tea and Crumpets…

Sock Knitting at Liberty

When Ann and I visited Liberty yesterday, we finished our trip with a visit to the Art Bar Cafe to sit, knit and enjoy some “tea.” For us, tea involved soda and water and some toasted crumpets. They were simply delicious!

While at Liberty, I picked up some Rowan yarn – 2 skeins for a pair of socks. (Gee, big shock there.) That is what is in the bag, in addition to some 1.5mm circulars.

The trip to Cardiff today was fabulous. The weather was perfect, the town is great for walking around in, Brenda and I stopped in some really cool unique shops, and then visited the castle where we had lunch and knit outside of the Norman Keep. Nothing like knitting near a 700 year old castle. It was fun getting a chance to just sit and talk with her, and I look forward to a longer visit the next time I come to the UK. Hopefully, I will be able to afford all the goodies at Melin Tregwynt that I want then, along with cooking goodies for Mike from Lakeland. If you ever have a chance to visit Cardiff, I highly recommend it!

hey i am so embarrassed about this, but a while back, i asked you abuot your podcasting mic. you kindly wrote me all about it, and then, during a frenzied workday, i deleted that email by mistake. can you resend me the information? i am in mic-shopping mode for sureal this time and as confused as ever!
enjoy your trip home!

Jason will be so happy to have you home and to never hear the word Phil again! We are meeting with him at 8 a.m. to give him our demands. That is unless he gets another migraine! Glad you had a good time. It has rained here for 5 straight days with 2 more to go! It is supposed to stop on Thursday…just in time for your arrival… didn’t get in much water time with it all coming down on our heads!

Christine is home! I picked her up from the airport as Mike’s flight was diverted to Dallas because of weather. So Christine should be updating this as soon as she gets some sleep! Welcome back!

I missed you! I’ve been in France for the last week and a bit and am only just catching up with my emails. Oh no! I am glad to see that you enjoyed Liberty – crumpets are definately my favourite!
