Turnoff

April 22nd to 28th is TV Turnoff Week. The purpose of the campaign is to leave your screens blank and “consider who’s been shaping the way they think.” Don’t they realize that this is the first week that a new Friends or ER is on NBC? I mean, come on! Actually, thanks to the Tivo, I don’t watch many commercials at all – I watch TV my way. Oh, wait … isn’t that an ad in itself?

Thanks for the reminder, Christine! I will probably tape “Must See TV” this week, so I don’t miss it entirely, but ending the evening dependence on the tv is a good thing.

I’m gonna have to agree with Meryl – they do this crap on purpose LOL! And LOL, like I turn the TV off intentially around my birthday? doesn’t sound like much of a present for me 😉
My particularly special picks for the week – there’s a new Angel on tonight, a new Roswell (only 4 more eps till the end!). And one of the Buffys from this season that I’ve only seen once! New one next week :giggle:
