Purge, Purge, Purge!

When we moved into the house, I felt like I was moving things that I didn’t really need – but I was all out of time to purge anything more. The rest of 2004 was just … craaaaazy. Now it’s a new year, and I’m full of new resolutions – one of which is to purge, purge, purge! Just like I read over at FlyLady, you can never clean clutter – it just keeps getting in the way!

I’m also anxious to be crafty. I have some cards I want to make, yarn to crochet another scarf, and knitting needles so I can finally learn how to knit. Question for the knitters out there – what do you recommend for newbies? The aluminum needles? Plastic? Bamboo? Is one easier to learn on over the other? Suggestions are welcome!

Yesterday…

Yesterday was a rather fabulous day. Matter of fact, most of this week has been pretty good. I’ve been busy cranking things out for work, and doing tons of housework organizing things. I love it when the house is clean, and we’ve been working on systems to keep it that way. There is even a little FlyLady involved.

On top of that, I got girly time yesterday. And I got to buy new bras! Pretty – and comfortable – underthings are always nice. I’ve put off shopping for them, but when the last good bra had an underwire pop, I caved in. While out, I discovered that everything in the entire mall is on sale! (Ok, not everything, but it seemed that way.) I got an adorable shirt that goes well with my brown slacks for $10! I love a good deal.

Today? Not so good. For silly and trivial reasons, I’m stuck in a back and forth battle that really makes no sense whatsoever. It frustrates me, and it really makes me sad as things have been so good. *sigh*

So I’ve had days of giddy, bubbly happiness … so today has been somewhat of a letdown. And you know what? That sucks.

I wish it was yesterday all over again.

All About the Free!

Gratis is at it again! You can already sign up to get a FREE iPod Shuffle! Just sign up and refer THREE friends, and you’re all set! Please sign up under me!

Speaking of freeeeeeee things, want to help me out? I only need TWO more people to complete the Free Photo iPod offer! TWO! Several people signed up under me, but only 8 people have completed the offer – and I need 10 people to complete their offer to earn a free iPod. If you signed up under me already, could you complete your offer? Or if you didn’t sign up yet at all, would you mind? Pretty please? Just go to FreePhotoiPods.com using my referral link and sign up and complete an offer.

Heck, as long as I’m linking, I’ve signed up for the Free Flat Screen TV (or monitor) offer. When I’m walking on the treadmill, having a nice TV is definitely a perk! (I already have a 27″ TV downstairs, so this would be the gameroom TV.)

I’ll be really, really grateful for anyone that signs up under me for ANY of these offers. So grateful that I will randomly select one of you that complete offer and buy something off of your Amazon wishlist or send you either a $20 Amazon or iTunes gift certificate – your choice! It’s a win-win situation!

Some of you are probably thinking that the free iPod thing is just a scam, right? Well, I know it works. I earned a free 20gb iPod (for Mike) in the summer of 2004. Kymberlie earned one, along with a flat screen TV. Emily earned one. Promoguy earned one. It’s not a scam. I promise.

Sign up. Be entered to win stuff from me. Earn a free Photo iPod, a free iPod Shuffle, or a free Flat Screen TV. How cool is that?
