Because I have had many people ask, I thought I would share the update on the status of my iPod. My order now says that it is “In Progress 3” as of 8/10/2004 2:20:00 PM. By the way, I went for the 20 gb white iPod instead of the mini, since they are so hard to find.

Unfortunately, my plan has gone wrong because the FAQ page now says, “Please note that all orders that are in In Progress 3 have been back ordered. Our supplier is currently out of stock & we expect orders to start going out in about a week. An email will be sent to you once your item has been shipped.”

So, it’s coming. Eventually. But not today.

I’ve always loved the handwriting style fonts – I have a zillion of them, it seems. But it’s hard to resist all the scrapbooking fonts that are on sale for $1.99 each. Too cute! The “SBC Love Mom” reminds me of Kristine!

I have had a headache for over two weeks now. This is not funny. Someone needs to make it stop. Now. And if my sinuses would stop hurting too, that would be a good thing. Matter of fact, I think the evil sinuses are what is causing the headache for the most part. Grrrr… I’m going to call the doctor in the morning and see what he can do.

Ok, I’ll try to stop pouting. It’s not easy though. Maybe if I follow Natalie’s lead and try to point out today’s positive, I’ll feel better.

My positive thing for today was taking Jason to his orientation for 7th grade at his new school. My other positives (but not THE positive) were backing up my laptop – which has never been backed up and has 2+ years of data on it, talking to Kathy about stamp goodies, and making a movie date for the weekend.

That makes me feel a little better. Everyone should try to find the positives in their life.

So, we did the FreeiPod thing … now you can sign up for a Free Flat Screen! I signed up last night, and now I need 8 referrals who *complete the offer* to get a free flat screen TV or monitor! Since Emily has already received her Columbia House DVDs, I think that’s the offer I’m going with. I also highly recommend the RealRhapsody offer – I have used it for close to a year now and I *LOVE* it. I never use iTunes, because I prefer to have a monthly subscription and listen to all the free music I want!

As a side note, if you are worried about spam – use a spam friendly address. For example, I created another address on my domain, just for things like this. If I get a zillion spam messages there, it doesn’t matter. My regular e-mail is untouched. Makes things a lot easier…

Kathy came over yesterday to host a Stampin’ Up! workshop for us – and what a BLAST it was! I’m so psyched, I love stamping! I had already said that I wanted to make our Christmas cards for this year, but now I want to make so much more! Stamping is serious instant gratification. What a blast!

You should see my catalog. I have flags on about half the pages of things that I want. Kathy had to give me extra wishlists so that I could write it all out – and even then, I stopped at page 70 – of a 300 page catalog! Oh my. I’m itching to stamp again! I’m also her possible new recruit. I’m still considering the logistics of it, and talking with Mike about how it would work with family time, Scouts, school, Lager Rhythms and so forth – but what a fun way to bring in some extra money and fund my new stamp addiction!
