So Dear, How Was Your Day?

“Anxious attitudes may be crowding your space, dear Libra. It may seem as if you are hunched over at a desk with hundreds of different people shouting things at you, throwing things at you, and demanding your immediate decision on certain issues. Try not to get too frazzled by other people’s abrasive behavior. Spend some time alone if you need to, but try not to take your frustration out on others.” [via ABC13.com: Horoscopes] Don’t forget to get your hands on these Psychic Readings.

I’m enjoying my quiet time alone now. Today has been a buzz of activity. All of it was good activity – just very hectic. I didn’t take any frustrations out on anyone, matter of fact Kymberlie thanked me at lunch for being a good friend and trying to help her through her own chaos of the day. Good day, just lots to do tonight and over the weekend. I think I’m going to try to spend some time down at the pool though too – may as well since it’s already so hot!

Sharks, Up Close and Personal…

Know what I can do with Jason now that he is 10 years old? I can take him to Seaworld San Antonio and we can participate in the Shark Interaction Program! “SIP enables animal enthusiasts to put on wetsuits, face masks and snorkels, then enter the sharks’ aquatic domain at SeaWorld’s Sharks/The Coral Reef habitat. From the safety of a steel protective barrier, SIPers go underwater for a shark’s-eye view of the sleek, silent ocean predators. As a bonus, SIP includes an opportunity to snorkel with and feed stingrays, also members of the shark family.” That would be SO cool!

In case you were wondering, I was actually working while making this post. I am surfing the Seaworld site for a reason. Now I want to leave work, hop in the car and go for a visit!

Road Rules…

Ok, this one is really, really simple people. When the line on the road inbetween the lanes goes from dashed (denoting that it is acceptible to change lanes) to solid, DO NOT change lanes! It’s a solid line for a reason!

There is an intersection I come through every morning on my way to work. Travelling West on FM 1960, the road splits – 3 lanes get to go into and underpass, below 249. The other 3 lanes stay at ground level and can turn on to 249 (North or South) or they can go straight like I do and turn in to our office building. This is all good & well – until idiots decide to ignore the solid white line. There thought process must go something like, “Oops, I’m in the center lane and I need to turn left up ahead. I’ll just go ahead and get over now. Gee, why is that line solid? Oh, whatever. I’m going anyways.” Even more amusing is mornings like today where two people do it at the same time, not using their turn signals of course, and almost hit each other! Yes, I just sit back and laugh at them.

Rules of the road. They are simple. You learned them when you were 16, how about using them now? And don’t cross the solid white line!

Help Me!

Want to know how my day went? I was on the computer from 11:30-12:30 and 6:30-7:30 today. Two hours. Total! (Well, until now.) I didn’t get the shakes or have withdrawals though because I was talking about websites the entire time. All day long – meetings, conference calls, and another meeting outside of the office which then meant road time. But it was a GREAT day. I did take the time to enjoy a nice lunch with Kymberlie, since she goes to Vegas on Sunday and I needed to take a break and unwind a bit so I could refocus after our morning meeting. Whew. I still feel like I have been running all day!

The denim shirt, Chris – I really like blue. I think it is a very flattering color for you on the set of Call for Help. Chris is so wonderful, he is sending something for my son, the geek-in-training! I told him that Jason would like to have an autographed photo (and if Mom got one too she would be thrilled!) We were shooting to get it here in time for his birthday on Sunday, but the package isn’t here yet, unless it just arrived today – I forgot to get the mail before I came upstairs! Guess I should go slip on some shoes and head on down to look! Thanks again, Chris, for sending it! He will be SO excited!

In the Zone…

Not much to say because I have been in a total zone this week. Conference calls today & tomorrow, tweaking proposals, getting ready to write new ones. It’s been a good week and I’m in a good mood. I’m just in the zone. I am so focused it’s wonderful … but it doesn’t leave much room for blogging today. I want to take a moment to thank Jennifer for allowing me to join with the Scriptygoddesses, sharing my code finds. I am thrilled!
