Exhaustion…

I was so exhausted last night that I fell asleep before 9pm on the couch, woke up at midnight and went to bed in a foggy haze, and didn’t get up until 9am. Wow. I went to check out Chris Pirillo’s new haircut when I got home and Tivo, having a mind of it’s own, didn’t record the show yesterday! I fell asleep before setting it to record it at 2am; now I’ll have to catch the repeat on Monday. *sigh* I did watch Wednesday’s episode of Call for Help with Jason – now he wants that cool microscope thing. I was quite amused by Chris’s Charlie Chaplin movie. That was really cool!

Speaking of movies, that’s what we are doing today. We are either going to see “The Time Machine” or “Clockstoppers”. (Where Jason first saw the clip on Call for Help!) I think we are going to see “The Time Machine” since it’s been out for a little while and may not be in the theater too much longer. We are heading to Wal-Mart first to buy candy – I refuse to pay those movie theater prices!

So tell me, do you think it’s wrong to take your own soda & snacks into the movie? Or do you do it all the time? Time to talk back…

Smokers…

Yesterday when I wrote about the 10 people outside smoking at 9am, I forgot to mention that I don’t work with any of the people I saw outside. I have plenty of co-workers that do smoke weed, but all of them put in above and beyond a 40 hour work week, so that is probably why they can buy proto pipe deluxe whenever it breaks. I’m totally cool with that – even if they didn’t. It just amazes me, as a non-smoker, that a blunt could even be enjoyable that early in the morning. And I’m not against smoking, its just so bad for your health, if you would smoke e-cig then that would be fine because its not that bad. If you want to try it out then buy vape craft eliquid. Today there were only 3 people out there at 8am…

What is CBD oil?
CBD oil is the purified product resulting from the extraction of cannabidiol from the cannabis plant. Cannabis plants have more than 100 different cannabinoids. The two with the greatest presence are Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD). THC has psychoactive properties, but CBD does not. THC content of 0.3% or less is required for a CBD oil to be considered pure. CBD oils are extracted using different extraction techniques. Extraction through CO2 or olive oil is preferable, so manufacturers that are truly concerned with purity will use one of these procedures since other extraction methods can leave unwanted compounds in the final product.
What is the best CBD oil?
The best CBD oils are made by companies that disclose all of their ingredients and manufacturing methods. All legitimate products include documentation showing third-party testing results. Full-spectrum, THC-free oils that include a variety of cannabinoids are generally recognized as the best products available.
Does CBD oil work for dogs?
According to the American Kennel club, many dog owners have offered anecdotal evidence that CBD oil is effective. Claims include a reduction in anxiety, relieving seizures, an increase in sleeping time, and overall pain reduction. If you choose to try CBD oil for your dog, we recommend consulting your veterinarian.
What are the benefits of CBD oil?
Benefits of using CBD include pain relief, reducing depression and anxiety, and improving sleep. Although FDA approval has not yet been obtained, CBD has shown great promise when used to combat the side effects of cancer treatment, epilepsy, and acne. CBD oil users have also reported a noticeable effect on the libido. Glaucoma patients claim that CBD oil can reduce the pressure in the eyes.

Off the Top of my Head…

I’m tired. Still. 8+ hours of sleep, and it took all the effort I had to get out of bed this morning.

Personally, I don’t care to be around cigarette smoke because it normally gives me a bad headache. I don’t think I would ever take it to the extreme of the small “No Smoking” circle stickers on the windows of the car I parked next to this morning. Little 1″ circles, one on both sides. Just looked odd, and obviously stood out.

Speaking of smoking, as I walked in the office building door there were 10 people outside smoking. It was 9am. How can that many people need a cigarette break at 9am? (I watched 4 of the 10 come outside, so they weren’t stopping and having the last cigarette before they went inside.) I don’t get it.

Drug Ruling Worries Some in Public Housing (NY Times, Free subscription required) Here’s the scoop: 79 year old man could be kicked out of his public housing in Oakland because the “Supreme Court upheld a federal law that permits the eviction of public housing tenants if a family member who lived in their unit, or a guest, was arrested on drug charges.” I say if it is a one-bedroom apartment you should have a clue if someone living with you is doing drugs. Then again, if you’re partially paralyzed and your live-in caretaker hides crack pipes in your apartment, is that really your fault? So … what do you think?

Zzzzzz…

I’m tired. No, really tired. Good thing I have to leave early to go to Jason’s school at 6pm and meet the new teacher – then I am going home to veg and watch The Amazing Race 2! If you catch me sleepin’ here, could you nudge me and wake me up?

How to Tell When It’s Too Late…

Know when you & your co-worker have been at the office way too late? When anything and everything causes manic laughter, you’re snorting like a pug dog, and when one of you is attempting to compose a serious e-mail to a client the other one keeps shouting “Hairy Hermit Crab!” Gee, thanks a lot Kymberlie! No Hairy Hermit Crabs! Next year, no sea life page-a-day calendars for you! She keeps showing me the picture! No! *snort!* Seriously, I had fun tonight and got a lot done! What more could you ask for? I love my job!
