Baltikum-Socken…

Does anyone mind translating a German knitting pattern for me? I could try, with a *lot* of effort, to figure it out, but I thought maybe someone would know German that could do it much faster than I could. It is the Wollkistchens Musterseite: Baltikum-Socken pattern, and while there is an English version available out there, it has been modified to 64 stitches. (I can make out that much of the pattern in the original.) Since I am a size 39 shoe, I know this would fit – if only I could read German!

If you can help, let me know. You can either comment here or e-mail me – my e-mail is christine @ this domain. Thank you in advance!

Flickin’ Flickr!

Flickr has gone from beta to gamma and everything has changed and it is all rearranged and it is all just so … weird! Augh!

Ok, I can get used to this. I’m glad they didn’t do it last week. At least this week I have some time to play with it. Later, after I finish my Blogomania work.

It Worked for the iPods…

In the past, I have received not one but two free iPods courtesy of the freepay.com websites, so when I spotted the XBox 360 offer, I decided to sign up! Want to get a free XBox 360? Sign up using my referral link!

Here is the scoop:
– You can only sign up once. They track IP addresses, so don’t sign up from work and then have friends sign up from work. It will cause them to place your account on hold.
– If you sign up from behind a firewall, you might not get credit for completing the offer. Again, best to sign up from home.
– Be careful referring family members – if they don’t live in your household, it should be fine. Remind them to only sign up one time also so that it doesn’t cause their status to be put on hold.
– Use a disposable e-mail account to sign up, but not one that you will forget. (Yes, I’ve done that.) I have received some spam in the past, so use an account with a good spam filter or one that you don’t normally use. I have a gmail account that I use just for things like this.
– They have changed things a little, and now you have 90 days from when you sign up to complete your offer and get credit for the referrals. So sign up quick!

I think that is everything. Yes, it really does work. I’ve received a 20gb iPod and a 60gb color photo iPod in the past. Kymberlie is the queen of free, and has received iPods, the iPod shuffle, a TV… I actually don’t remember all the free things she has received. Yes, it is one of those things that after you sign up, you have to ask others to sign up. 8 people need to register and complete offers in order for me to get a free XBox 360. I’m willing to work a little though for a free XBox.

I’m Feeling Sudsalicious…

I haven’t made a final decision yet, but I’m considering taking advantage of my Etsy shop to sell my Sudsalicious Bodyworks soaps again. I have all the supplies I need to make them, and plenty of time now that summer has arrived. Hmmm…

Anyone need some soap?

I’m also considering using it for my photographs, along with other crafty goods. What do you think? Good idea? Bad? I can’t help but wonder if anyone would buy anything. I guess I never know until I try!

I Have to Admit It…

I was looking at photos over at Flickr this morning, as I am often known to do, and I came across a maternity “belly shot” photo. I know that being pregnant is a very beautiful thing, but I just have to say it…

Pregnant belly photos really creep me out.
