Seeking Inspiration…

It’s a new week and Blogwhore: the Webgame starts up with Immunity challenge #3 today. This challenge?

“Your goal is to compose a tracklisting for a Mix CD. Each track contains what you would call a ‘theme song’ for each contestants blog. There are 10 contestants, therefore your CD must be 10 tracks long.”

While I have the PERFECT song already picked out for William, I need to think of 8 more and one for me. Hmm…

So here is where YOU come in. If you’ve been following along or even if you haven’t – post a song and which contestant you think it applies to in the comments. Audience participation! AND! There’s MORE! If I use your song, link love for you! (Rannie-style!) What more can a blogwhore ask for, after all?

Meet Me!

I just got an e-mail from Shawn and I’m so excited! She is flying to California in September and has a layover in Houston – and I’m going to go to the airport to meet her! It will be short & sweet – but in person, and that’s what matters! Shawn was one of the first blogs that I read, back when she was the “Blog Addict” so this is truly a treat! An early birthday present for me!

Anyone else coming to Houston? Let me know!

So Cool, It Hurts!

Gotta love the happy customer! Robyn just finished skinning Wendell’s Painfully Cool site! It looks fantastic! Yet another Blogomania client satisfied. She has that effect on our clients, you know, in that special sort of way…

Well, It Made #2!

I keep saying that I hate Houston and that I want to move. I said earlier at the beginning of the year that I would like to move to the Minneapolis – St. Paul area because I have a lot of family there. So it was amusing to see the list of cities generated for me by FindYourSpot.com. Whenever I tell anyone I want to move to Minneapolis, they comment about how much it snows there – so thanks to the test results I’ve included the snow information from the website:

1. Carlisle, Pennsylvania (Snow: 37″)
2. Minneapolis – St. Paul, Minnesota (Snow: 40″)
3. Rochester, New York (Snow: 91″, more than twice as much as Minneapolis.)
4. Seattle, Washington (Snow: 15″; every time I visit Seattle I never want to leave.)
5. Toledo, Ohio (Snow: 37″)
6. Cincinnati, Ohio (Snow: 19″)
7. Cleveland, Ohio (Snow: 56″)
8. Indianapolis, Indiana (Snow: 22″)
9. Omaha, Nebraska (Snow: 29″)
10. St. Louis, Missouri (Snow: 18″)

Maybe Minneapolis isn’t as bad as everyone tries to make it out to be. I know that I love it there, and that’s what matters. [via Ciscley]

It’s a Crime!

I’m all for cracking down on kids and making sure they follow the rules to keep them in line. But to call a spitball a felony is just a bit extreme if you ask me. Accidents happen, but this puts a whole new spin on the “you could poke someone’s eye out” thing that your mom always used to say.
