I was making some changes to my sidebar, changing things around like how old my son is now that he’s had a birthday and so forth. While digging through the file, I decided to add a link to the web design company that I work for – their site is here – 4 Guys – and I’m just too damn proud and impressed with the work that my co-workers do and the amazing things that they create to not take a moment to show it off. If you go there, play in the 4Gear Store – it’s cool what they did with Flash & Cold Fusion! And that was before FlashMX came out! And I just have to point out that the 4 Guys logo ROCKS. Oh, have I mentioned recently that I really like my job?
Yeah, Well…
I just decided to take a peak at TechTV | Call For Help in anticipation of Gnome-Girl’s appearance on the show this afternoon. On the site it actually says:
Meet Chris’ Stalker
Gnome-girl gives step-by-step instructions for starting your first weblog.
First of all, it’s obvious that they haven’t read the article I did last week about how that’s really supposed to be Chris’s stalker (ugly, but correct.) Meanwhile – she may be his stalker, but I was threatening last night to register a domain to the effect that I am Chris Pirillo’s Bitch. IamChrisPirillosBitch.com was still available last time I checked, but with 18 other domains, I just don’t need another right now!
A *HUGE* thanks goes out to Chey for mentioning Blogomania in her article for the show notes (on the second page, where she gives more detailed instructions.) I can’t wait to get home tonight to see the show!
I Love to Write…
Considering the number of writers that I have met in the past year and the fact that in a way I am an informal writer by keeping a blog, the I Love to Write Day is an interesting concept. Mark your calendar and let’s celebrate!
He’s Backkkkkk…
Todd has returned to excess bloggage. I think I hear the angels in heaven singing.
Uh, No. Don’t Think So…
Looking through the stats … what’s that URL there? It’s a long one, but it leads you to a blogger blog named “blah, blah, blog” and his May 20, 5:25 pm post says “Someone stole my site name.” Uh, no. I didn’t steal your site name. You can check with my friends that were there when I named the site way back in May, 2000 – this isn’t exactly a new site. Registered the URL on September 5, 2000. Rob has a few posts in June, 2000 and no archives until October, 2000. Seems I didn’t steal your name, Rob. But thanks for checking.
I should note that, ironically, Robyn first found my site because she thought of the name too and wanted to see if it was available last summer! It wasn’t, I was here, we met … and the blog world was never quite the same! Mwuhahaha!
