My goal has finally been reached. Now if you do a Google Search for Christine, I am NUMBER ONE! w00t! It must have been the other Kristine’s tips that finally pushed me over the top. What were her tips? I’m not telling! Number 2 might steal my spot! I’m number 1! Yes, I am an absolute geek and this thrills me to no end.
About time, huh? Well, you can finally view BlahBlahPhotos :: SXSW 2002! A huge thanks to Stephanie again for helping me complete the Gallery configuration – I was installing the wrong version of the NetPBM files, so it wouldn’t run for me. Now that I have the right version and it’s all set up, I’ll add my Saturday – Tuesday pictures over the next few days! Yeah! Some of these will end up in Pixelog too, in case you wondered. But not all the snapshot ones.
Members of the H-Town Blogs got together last night at Kenneally’s Pub. Kymberlie and I were at the office until about 8:30pm working though, and we couldn’t leave any earlier – so sadly we missed out on the event. Bummer too, because they had a GREAT turnout and I really wanted to go. I *will* go to the one in May. Period. As long as it’s on a Wednesday – Thursdays don’t work for me. Microsoft Releases Patch to Fix Web Server Holes: “Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday announced a security patch that fixes more than a dozen holes in its Web server software, including several critical ones that could allow a hacker to take complete control over machines running the popular software.” Can I just add in, once again, that I love Unix and Linux? After moving Blogomania last week, my posts on a message board caught Tess’s attention and made her start checking out this whole blog thing. That inspired her to set up a copy of MT and present the world with Tess Rants, which is shaping up to be a wonderful blog. Maybe I just feel a bond with her because I too was a party photographer in college, shooting at sorority and fraternity functions. You can only appreciate it if you have done it yourself…
Also thanks to the move I have found The World Ate my Skull which is the blog of Annette the support queen, Nerdwoman which is Stephanie’s blog – she helped get my Gallery set up so photos of SXSW will be coming soon, and Xkot.net, Scott’s blog full of tasty morsels. Don’t you just love finding new-to-you blogs?
