This is not the plug-in I use to make my WinAmp list display on my site in the sidebar, but the instructions for BlogAmp look a lot easier to figure out and set up. Give it a whirl and show us your list! [via Pamela]
What Do I Need to Do?
It seems that Min Jung is a Born Again Virgin and has now been contacted by the Discovery Channel. Hmmm, I wonder how long it has to be for me to qualify to be a BAV? After all, it’s been awhile…
You Know I Do!
Kymberlie and I went to Fazoli’s for lunch today. (Sorry, no pictures this time Mikey.) When we got in the car to leave, I had the radio on. A commercial came on for some diet tablet (TurboTrim?) and it was about two women at a store trying on swimwear.
The first woman (with very fake tone to her voice) says, “Oh! You’re going to try on the bikini? You’re so brave. Let me see! Oh my goodness! Look at you! You look so good! Your thighs! Your hips! Your abs! Have you gone to a wax salon? Your butt! What have you been doing?”
The second woman goes on to say that she is taking the miracle diet supplement that is just melting pounds away (in an equally fake but not quite as annoying voice). She tells her friend that it’s just amazing! “I can eat anything I want, even cheesecake! And I never have to exercise, the pounds just melt away! It’s so wonderful!” She then asks her friend if she would like to try some – to which the friend replies …
“You know I do! You little hottie!”
I would like to know who is personally responsible for writing this script. They should be bitch-slapped. What were they thinking? No woman would ever speak to her friend like that! It was too hysterical. Now Kymberlie & I are callling all of our co-workers “You little hottie!” and we will probably be sued for sexual harrassment! If that happens, I’m going after TurboTrim. It’s all their fault…
Note to Self…
Note to Self: Must remember to add irenic*embers and broomeman.com to my sidebar. I just noticed I didn’t do it in my last round of revisions, and last week was a little crazy…
The Sound of Silence…
Writing proposals at work takes a lot out of me (and I have another one to do in the morning) and it leaves me without a lot to say here. Hmm. So here are some random things:
– I’m behind on blog reading. I have a lot of catching up to do. I want to, but I am also suffering from computer burnout after the past week. I’ll be there, I promise.
– I watched last Wednesday’s episode of “Call for Help” on my Tivo on Sunday. Chris wished Katie a Happy 13th Birthday. I keep wondering if that’s Chey’s daughter, who turned 13 last week. Chey?
– My back hurts from sitting in this chair too long. I’m moving as soon as I finish this post.
– I finally paid attention when No Doubt was on my WinAmp again. I’ve heard “Hey Baby” before! Dude! Well, like I told Robyn before, a lot of times I recognize a song but have no idea what the title is or who sings it. I just know the song.
– I still have to get my other sites online. So far this one and the Pixelog are the only ones online.
– This isn’t a new design – if you see 10 small photographs on the top and a dark gray background, this is the default template of my site. The cookies seem to have been reset for some people because of the site move.
– I am really happy to have my skins back up on my site. That default template wasn’t right at all!
– My “girlie music” list is named that because of Chris V. It’s really some pretty random music, but most of it’s good. He keeps saying it’s girlie stuff, I don’t agree with him. Well, not completely. Hall & Oates though? (I actually like them. And I like Barry Manilow too.)
– Off to catch up on Third Watch. I’m really getting in to this show finally this season. Tivo’s calling me…
