I go to check the ol’ e-mail while I watch Plushenko land on his butt after Yagudin’s perfect skate. (I love Figure Skating!) There is my familiar AllRecipes.com newsletter. Subject: “The Cheesecake Issue”. When I open it up, the first line I see? “This issue of Recipe Notes is brought to you by eDiets.com.” I can’t stop laughing. That’s classic!

An Interesting Twist on Thursday…
As some of you may have noticed, Valentine’s Day is this Thursday. Yes, the holiday that us single people love to hate. Well, I hated it when I wasn’t single, just because I don’t want flowers because the calendar says you have to, I want them “just because”. All that stuff. I won’t bother to explain it all, Michele has said it better then I ever could. Personally I like the fact that she is looking out for us single people. “What you should do is find a friend who is feeling lonely. One that isn’t currently attached at the hip to someone. One who thinks Cupid should be drawn and quartered…” Yeah! Look out for us! Show us some love!
Ha! Take That!
Skating federation to investigate controversial Olympic judging. I told you they were ROBBED! But I am only going on the small clips I saw last night because, silly me, I fell asleep on the couch before I started up the Tivo! I missed the finals! I am so bummed. Anyone know where I can find them online? [via Robyn]
But That’s Not Me…
Last week I received an e-mail with FTP information for a domain hosted on at Earthlink. I received another version of it today, with a message informing me that the username & password to FTP for the site. Again, coming to one of my rarely used domains. I finally did a Whois and looked up the new owner. Gave him a call, and sure enough – he set everything up over the phone and they entered the e-mail address wrong. He just called them about half an hour before I called requesting they send the information again because he hadn’t received it. Oops! I sent it on to him, and he was so thankful that I called. I think he was about to call Earthlink and give them a piece of his mind! Such a nice gentleman. I’m glad I called so he didn’t keep wondering what was going on!
Off to save the world! Ok, ok, really I’m getting back to work. I’ve churned out a lot this morning and I don’t want to lose the momentum! I will return to blog world later today!
