If you haven’t done so already (or even if you have) you can head on over to Rannie’s site and vote in the 100k photo contests : end of summer category. He’s even created a nice page that displays all of the entries at once with the poll at the top to make voting even easier!

The Yahd at Hahvahd…
Shouldn’t I be Sleepy?
I was wide awake until 5:30am last night, and got a phone call that woke me up at 7:15am and got up to get ready for work at 8:00am. (I went back to sleep for the 45 minutes inbetween.) I should be tired right now – and I’m not. What’s up with that? I’ve been wide awake all day, and I’ve only had one Coke. Caffeine is playing no roll here.
Maybe it’s stress? The final round of nominations for Big Blogger were today. Ken & Benjy have been nominated, and now one of them will be voted off. I haven’t decided who I would vote for if I could – but when I do I’ll let you know. This means I made it to the final 4. The next round, the public gets to decide who goes up for nomination and the vote. After that, we’ll be down to 3 and the public will pick the winner. I’ll keep you posted, but for the moment I am in the clear!
Edited: I’ll let you decide who to vote for, but here’s my take on it. Ken is a strong player. Stronger then Benjy is, in my opinion. Ken is going to be a much bigger threat for me in the long run. Soooo… well, like I said, I’ll let you decide.
Picture Time!
Now that the skins are back, I realized not everyone is going to notice the new thumbnails in the top bar of the default skin – so I thought I would announce that there are new photos at the Pixelog! More to come later today!
Pow! Right to the Moon!
The first commercial moon mission has been approved. Among the reasons why they are going? “To verify Apollo and other landing sites.” Some people believe the Apollo program was a hoax. I mean, it’s not like our government has never lied to us, you know. The mission is expected to launch within the next 9 to 12 months, and I’m sure the images they bring back from the trip will be amazing!
Future plans for the TransOrbital? “The creation of a network of navigation beacons on the moon to help future lunar explorers and possibly ultra-secure data storage facilities.” Yes, I would think that the moon would be a pretty secure place to store data. Wouldn’t it be hard to retrieve it if you needed to do a backup though? [via Malibu List]
