The Big 1-1!

Today is the big day … Jason turns 11! I took the day off from work because he has the day off from school because of Easter. We came over to my Mom’s house for breakfast, and since the sun came out, we’re heading to Mountasia for miniature golf and video games (Jason can’t drive a go-cart with his cast) this afternoon we even got recycled golf balls for today and then tonight we’re going out for dinner and birthday cake! Wheeeee! Heck out this Callaway golf watch review to learn how a quality GPS golf watch can help you lower your scores.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!

Happy Easter!

Alive and well – but the Easter Bunny seems to have taken my cable away. When the cable goes, the cable internet goes too! Oops! So no internet access for me at home. I’m at my Mom’s house for Easter dinner though, so I decided to borrow her computer to check my e-mail and pop in here.

Hopefully it will be fixed by the time I get home tonight and all will be back to normal! Happy Easter to everyone! Enjoy all the chocolate!

Holy Land Experience…

Forget about heading out to a theme park like Six Flags this weekend … it’s time for a road trip to the Holy Land Experience! Heading to Orlando? This is just up the road from Universal Studios! Just check out those great attractions – “Caravan Cabana”, “The Qumran Dead Sea Caves”, and the highlight for the Easter weekend? “Calvary’s Garden Tomb”! In times of strife and struggle throughout the world, don’t risk a trip to Israel; just head on over to Holy Land Experience!

(Oy. Whatever will they come up with next?)

Too Tired, Back Tomorrow…

I have felt exhausted all day long – so I will post all about dinner Thursday night and the big red button tomorrow. Promise. No words tonight.

But so you can have something to look forward to – the big red button is a hidden treasure here in Houston. And I know where to find it now!

Ten Things…

I am absolutely fascinated by the 10 things we didn’t know this time last week series from the BBC. Wow, this is cool! My favorite from this week?

The waxworks at Madame Tussaud’s are not made of wax at all. The material is too heavy to support its own weight, so only the faces and hands of the famous are cast in beeswax while the bodies are made of fibreglass. A notable exception – and a new addition unveiled in London this week – is Brad Pitt’s bottom, which is made from a foam and silicon mixture to make it squeezably lifelike.

We can squeeze Brad Pitt’s ass at Madame Tussaud’s! Dude! If I wasn’t meeting up with Leia (pronounced Lee-a, not like the princess, in case you ever wondered), Julie, Jason, Mike and PhotoMatt for dinner at 7:30, I would be hopping on a jet for London, just to squeeze Brad Pitt’s ass.

Ok, not really. But I seem to have NOTHING to write about today. Like everyone else, I seem to be “on edge” lately – like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. Are the planets spinning backwards around their moons again or something?

As an addendum to yesterday’s post, Michelle pointed out that there is a section in her forums just for sharing info about songs heard on commercials. It’s all about sharing the love here at the House of the BPC!
