Today is the big day … Jason turns 11! I took the day off from work because he has the day off from school because of Easter. We came over to my Mom’s house for breakfast, and since the sun came out, we’re heading to Mountasia for miniature golf and video games (Jason can’t drive a go-cart with his cast) this afternoon we even got recycled golf balls for today and then tonight we’re going out for dinner and birthday cake! Midnight has come and gone, and it is officially Mike’s birthday! Go wish him well if you have a moment.

We had delicious fondue tonight – everyone loved both of the cheese fondues. We didn’t make the fruit one, even though I had all the ingredients – it was a smaller gathering then normal, so we simply had too much! I also went with sausage browned on the stove instead of the meat fondue. Of course the chocolate fondue was yummy and a big hit! So all in all it went well, we had plenty of fondue pots, and we have a ton of ingredients left over so we will be fondue’ing again soon! M? Nicole? Anyone else? You guys coming down to Houston for fondue? Maybe I should beg Sydney to make a road trip around the beltway to try it! I have enough left over for several batches actually!

Busy day ahead, but I just had to take a moment to give a Happy Birthday shout-out to one of my personal long-time favorite people, PromoGuy! Promo & I have known each other for what seems like forever and he has always been a wonderful friend. Plus he’s a gadget junkie too, and I just love that in a person! He always hooks me up with the goooooods…

Promo, life can hold many regrets if we focus on the past, but if we focus on the future it’s not as bad. Like you said, life, like a fine wine, gets better with age. I hope you have a FANTASTIC birthday weekend and that nothing but the best in the years ahead!

How ironic is it that I just got spam telling me that I can get rid of spam? I guess they were successful in getting their point across that I have spam to get rid of, but I’m still not buying what they’re selling!
