Shawn’s Avon 3-Day Walk For Breast Cancer is next weekend. I am so impressed by all of the hard work that Shawn has put in training for this 60 mile walk. She is $150 short of her required contribution level. I’ll be making my donation May 1st. Won’t you help to save the boobies?

Pencam.org is proof that even a simple pencam can take beautiful pictures. Yes, a pencam. The portable digital camera that doubles as a webcam. You can read his notes about it if you click on the “?” icon. Really interesting project – I first discovered it when he attended a panel I was at at SXSW. I love to go back and see what new shots he has added every once in awhile!

I was going to blog it last night after Michele wrote to me about it, but it didn’t seem to flow right with the post about Jason’s birthday – so if you have missed it before today, stumble on over to Raising Hell, which puts a whole new twist on parenting. As Michele said, “Raising Hell is a parenting blog, but it’s not. It’s all the stuff parenting magazines don’t cover. It’s the stuff that makes parenting fun. It’s embarassing stories and fart jokes and birthday parties from hell.”

Oh yeah… the truth about parenting, and some of my mommy stories might just end up there. Michele said to just send them on to her. Keep an eye out for them – once I find some time…

Gnome-Girl has a new look, with pictures of lots of a little hottie! (That is my phrase for the week for any woman, you know. It still cracks me up.) I helped her tweak the CSS last night – after I wrote over it. Oops! But now it looks pretty, pretty and I’ll be tweaking even more tonight! I’m not up to redesigning my site right now, so tweaking other sites fills that creative need!
