One Legged Man…

I would really love to sit and chat, but with everything that is on my list of things to crank out today – things that absolutely MUST happen today – I am going to be busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest. It’s going to be simply craaaaaazy. Stampin’ Up! party at my place tomorrow, and I want to have everything ready to go today. Plus the Lager Rhythms show tonight. Yep, it’s confirmed – it will be a super busy day.

Props to my Mom who has been a cooking machine and is offering up Christmas goodies for me for tomorrow’s party. Yummy goodies – I can’t wait!

Meanwhile, go and visit Pixelog and let me know which pictures you like, how they make you feel, and so forth. Know that while you’re enjoying those, I’ll be running around like a crazy woman. Sounds like fun, right?

In the Office…

I realized earlier this week that I have reached the point now that I must keep regular office hours. Same time, daily, I’ll be online working. Granted, with Blogomania, I can’t help but work sometimes at wonky hours, and that won’t change. (I don’t know if I’d call them regular…) But there are big plans in the works, change is in the air … and having set hours for administration duties is a good thing.

Along with set office hours, I’m now all set up and using Yahoo! Messenger. I’m “bigpinkcookie” – creative, huh? So if you Yahoo! too, send me a message so we can chat!

Today, Blogomania. Tomorrow … THE WORLD!

I Seriously Need to…

Mike and I are talking about things that need to get done. Every sentence that I say starts with, “I seriously need to…” and as the words come out of my mouth, I think of at least 3 more things that I seriously need to do.

… I seriously need to update the Blogomania client blogroll.

… I seriously need to work on some Blogomania billing issues.

… I seriously need to add a blogroll to the index page of Blogomania with the last x number of recently updated blogs. Is there a better solution for this than Blogrolling?

… I seriously need to post the Bloghosts moving special on the index page. 1 month free; migration for you guys.

… I seriously need to create a “client testimonials” page so that I can share things like Ms. Pants “like butta” site migration feedback.

… I seriously need to finish getting ready for the Stampin’ Up open house that is at MY house on Sunday. Want to join us? We’re making coasters using tiles – it will be cool.

… I seriously need to bake some goodies for the open house. What kind of cookies should I make?

… I seriously need to finish moving out all of the boxes I emptied out last weekend. Isn’t purging the house fun?

… I seriously need to finish up installing MT and getting this site moved – or not moved, whatever I end up doing. I love WP and I’m still using it for other sites; I just miss MT here.

… I seriously need to finish up my RSS article for the Lockergnome channel. I think I will do this one before I go to sleep tonight.

… I seriously need to edit and post more wedding & honeymoon photos. I love looking at them, and it’s only right if I share them with you guys.

Wow. I mean, seriously, this is way too many things to have on my plate all at once. I guess it’s good to be so serious about all of this, but being gone from home 4 days this week is really putting a kink in all the things I seriously need to do here. *whew* It will get better though once I get through tomorrow. Tomorrow. I can make it. I’m almost there. Seriously.

Makes a Mother Proud…

We still had two slices of pumpkin pie left from last week. Jason decided he wanted some pie. His first request sounded like something from weebl and bob. “I want pie. Mmmm… pie.”

Mike went out to the kitchen to get him a slice of pie, but he hadn’t heard Jason’s whole special pie request, so I told Jason he had to sing his pie request. I meant for him to just repeat what he said.

Instead, he sang a whole song about how he wanted pie to the “Camptown Races” toon. All of it. “Oh I want pie, want pie right now, oh, doo da day…”

I’m still giggling just thinking about it. What a way to make us proud!

Pie is good. Mmmmm… pie!
