Have to agree with Todd on this one: “The Pixie Stix people and the United Powdered Sugar Manufacturers have decided to drop free samples of their products by air over several major U.S. cities using cropdusters in a well-thought out promotional gimmick.” Oooooh, that’s smart, really smart. He also pointed out that Publishers Clearinghouse recently sent out “samples of OxiClean household cleanser, which comes in a white powdery form!” Oh, who was the rocket scientist that came up with that idea?

Laura was talking the other day about the “Great Storytellers CD Collection!” and I commented that Kymberlie has a bunch of compilation CDs too. Right now I am listening to her MP3 playlist of the “ESPN Jock Jams” and it rocks! I need something to pump me up … songs like “Tribal Dance” and “I Like It Like That” should work!

Robyn just asked me to be a judge in The Dress Contest 2001 – united under “Wholly Matrimony!”. How cool! I am so excited! Thanks Robyn! Kathy, the professional bridesmaid, is going to be out of town, so I will be taking her place. I love looking at all the pretty dresses … what fun!

Aerial view of the WTC site … this makes me sick to my stomach. Not sure if it’s the angle of the view (I feel like I am upside down looking at it…) or if it’s the photo itself. Probably both. It just leaves me speechless. I watched the special episode of “Third Watch” on Monday, where they were interviewing firefighters, policeman, and paramedics who were there on September 11th – it was chilling to hear their stories, but I lost it when they started to interview the wives whose husbands they haven’t found. And how one of the children still thinks his Daddy is coming home any day… sad. So, so sad. (Thanks to Laura for the link to the photo.)
