Chelsey’s birthday is October 22. Not October 24 like I keep tryiing to convince myself it is … October 22. I can’t forget it because she WILL hunt me down and use Sprite on me.

Kymberlie came over last night after she finished working out at the gym. We decided to watch Bounce, since neither one of us had seen it. I thought it was pretty good. That could be influenced though by the fact that I want Ben Affleck to come and hunt me down like his character did in the movie. *sigh*
It’s raining again. I guess as an apartment dweller, I don’t care as much about rain. It has been raining all week. Ugh. I am tired of it. Then again, it really hasn’t rained that much since the flood this summer, so I am sure we needed it. Maybe I am tired of it because of the flood – it almost scares me to hear it coming down, non-stop, for so long. Every time I leave home I worry that the parking lot will be flooded, that it will happen again. Not a good feeling.

BALANCE is the sign of harmony and balance. The 7th sign of the zodiac coincides with the equinox of autumn, when day and night are of equal duration. The BALANCE tries to have this kind of equilibrium in his relationship with others through sharing. In addition, because Venus is his master planet, he cultivates his charm and mastery in love. Sometimes he lacks sincerity in his quest to be social at all costs
Your Rising Sign is Aquarius …
He is an adventurer, an artist, and a scientist. He looks beyond the world that we know about into a universe without the usual borders of time and space. He is passionate about discovering new horizons, and travels the world looking for different ways of life, unbelievable sights, and wild adventures.
He travels through space, but he also travels through time, always toward the future, in the hope that he will be able to make life better for mankind. His dream is to improve the environment we live in thanks to some of his brilliant ideas or revolutionary technological discoveries.
The Aquarius ascendant is on a solitary spiritual quest, starting to perceiving the signs of a psychic awakening so I can get their abilities and perceive auras in the future. He tries to detach himself from human passions in order to reach the summits of intellectual thought. If he likes to share his opinions with others and to spend time with his friends, he can also be quite hard on other people, antisocial and cynical. He is extremely moody. He can be the nicest person for an entire evening, only to blow people off the next day using the excuse that he has important things he needs to do. His eternal search for an idealistic life comes before his or other peoples feelings. In fact, Aquarius ascendants often sacrifice their love lives to be able to be free enough to pursue their ideals. This kind of force of character makes him a very magnetic person, because we often like the people that resist our love.

It’s been a crazy day … crazy week actually, but I am not complaining. Just means more money in the end for those of us in a sales type of position. I have been checking in though, visiting others blogs, looking for comments here, etc. Like Nicole said, comments are like little Christmas presents! Anyways, I took a moment and looked at my log files … and guess what, Naomi? Someone found the site through a search for “fuxor l33t”! Whoo hoo! FUXOR! WTF? Hehe. I love it.
Also spotted some new people linking to my site – what a thrill! And some good finds too – I will have to share later tonight or tomorrow.
Windows & Doors
I just popped in over at Sov’s blog, Bona Fide Cynic, and I LOVE the door picture she has on the site. Which brings up an odd & interesting point. I have this “thing” for pictures of doors or windows. If I go into a picture shop or a framing store, every single picture I point at and say “ooooooh, I like that” will be a picture of a door, a window, or some sort of entry way – like an arch leading into a garden. I wonder what that says about me? Does it mean that I a curious person? Always wondering what is behind the door? Or that I am seeking new adventures? Or does it just mean I am strange and like pictures of doors & windows?
I don’t like those pictures exclusively – my favorite Paula Vaughan image that I have cross-stitched is a picture of a swing with a quilt … and a path leading to the porch of a Victorian home in the background … with a door and lots of windows with beautiful vintage shutters. read more here to get shutters just as beautiful as the ones in my favorite picture.
