A big huge congratulations to my wife, Robyn, at Ain’t too proud to blog who was nominated for a Bloggie!!! YOU GO GIRL!

Side note: No, she isn’t really my wife. But she has been there for me in times of need in my personal life, we have helped each other with code on our websites, we are sharing the home of my hosting account and MovableType (I asked her to move in with me!) and she is simply so wonderful that I proposed to her one day – and she said yes! Her husband Todd was most thrilled. Men and that whole “2 Women” thing … but that’s a post best left for another time. Thank you for everything since you started blogging Robyn, I am so thrilled that we have met, and I adore you! Good luck with the Bloggies!

Chris V., one of my co-workers, sent me this Insanity Test. But … I’m a mom! I can handle that for hours on end! Heck, it sounds like the sound effects *I* make! (Just ask Kymberlie, she can verify that!) So, are you insane?

After some prodding on my part and us thinking of the perfect domain & blog name for her, Kymberlie will soon be joining in the world of blogging at The Neurotic Fishbowl! Whoo hoo! She sent me a link yesterday for a picture that she liked, and then it all clicked. She loves fish. Then there was that comment last week that “the neurotic funhouse that is my life never ends…” And that was it. The name was obvious. She registered the domain this morning and as soon as it resolves she will have a blog! Yippee!

You know, it’s always wonderful to see that you are #1 in the search engines. It sort of gives you a happy glow. Unless you are #1 for the Lycos Search for “belly torture”. Yes, “belly torture”. (Be warned, some of the links there have some interesting descriptions…) Sorry, no torture here. I’m not into pain, thankyouverymuch.

Jennifer asked me if it bothered me that people find my site through some rather odd searches (I got one for short toes again yesterday). It doesn’t. I find it amusing that people search for stuff like that. I am sure if they find my site, which obviously doesn’t have what they are looking for, they just move on. Or they read it. Whatever – works for me.
