I figured out that what I need to do to fix this is to put the sidebar and the entire graphic in the header file, before my MT content tags, and put everything else after the MT content tags. Problem is, I can’t seem to get the tables set up right. You can see my miserable attempt here. Ahhh, the joys of hand coding HTML in notepad. I will try again later, but for the moment… maybe if you squint you can pretend the kiddo looks ok? Anyone that is a coding wonder out there with any ideas? Hmmmm…

Erika said the other day that she was in the mood to do a design, so I took her up on the offer and she made this for ME!!! One problem. If you look at what she made, the snow angel’s feet are connected to the body. But mine are dangling below. Poor kid! Soooo, I am experimenting to fix it. The top part is in my header file, before my MT entries, and the bottom part is in my footer file, after my MT entries. I suspect that is part of the issue, now I just have to find the solution! Any ideas? Thanks to Zal for her help with pointing out the fix to my first problems (the kid was in 3 pieces, not 2!) I looooove it though – it’s so adorable! And it’s snowing in Houston! Erika promised me she would make a snow angel for me, and she came through!

PCWorld offers Pop-Up Stopper, and I give it 2 thumbs up! It prevents the annoying pop-up ads from spawning on their own, and if you need something to open in a pop-up window you can hold the shift key while you click the link. (Such as pictures in blogs that are in pop-up windows.) Best part? It’s free!

Is it just me, or is it odd that the most dangerous city in the US is one I have never even heard of, and Lubbock, Texas is #19 on the list? On the other hand, Bismarck, ND is #3 safest, and La Crosse, WI is #5. I would move to La Crosse in a minute – it’s near Winona, MN where my family is at. I love that region! It’s soooo beautiful up there! (link thanks to Kathy, who pointed out that NY isn’t as dangerous as we all seem to think!)

Guess what I watched last night? Yep – Moulin Rouge! It was great! I will say it’s not as visually impressive on the small screen as it was on the big screen – on the big screen there was so much going on it was almost hard to take it in – hard to see what was on one side while looking at the other side. But it was still fabulous! I need to watch the other DVDs today!
