I ordered checks on August 20th from Checks in the Mail. I checked my mail this morning before I left for work because I forgot to get it on Saturday, and guess what? The checks are already here! Damn! That was fast, that means they had them shipped out and to me in 6 days. Ordered on Monday, arrived either Friday or Saturday! (I have this tendency to forget to check my mail…) Can’t complain about that! I figured they wouldn’t be here until after the 1st at the earliest.
Because I know you care. My birthday is exactly 1 month away. In case you were wondering. Anyone know where I can get one of those fun countdown things? I know GeoCities offers one, but you have to be hosted on by them to use it.
I miss people leaving comments. I don’t know why, that is one of my favorite things to do when I need a mini-break. I come and read comments. Lately no one has been saying much of anything. Then again, maybe that’s my fault. Hmmm…
I finally remembered the line I wanted to share with Chelsey from the movie last night. Jay was introducing himself, and then he said, “and this is my heterosexual life partner, Silent Bob.” I about died. That is so us! Yep, I have these ongoing jokes about being someone’s life partner. Kymberlie & I have joked about it, Naomi & I have joked about it. But I have actually asked Chelsey to be my “Sugar Momma” and see if her company will cover “Same Sex Life Partners” on their benefits. Gee, no wonder someone at the FC started to spread rumors about me hooking up with Naomi! Oh well. As long as they realize I am her Heterosexual Life Partner, it’s ok.
I find it quite amusing that Bush is “proud” of The Complete Bushisms. Is there no end? Can’t anyone find him someone to help coach him with public speaking? Sure, we all make little slips. But he truly takes the cake. And I thought Dan Quayle was bad…
Just got back from seeing Jay & Silent Bob with Kymberlie. That was HYSTERICAL! Just what I needed. So glad we went out tonight to see it. Kymberlie thought there wouldn’t be anyone at the movie – good thing we got there when we did, it was a full house! I loved it. That was great. Damn, there was a line I thought, “I have to remember that so I can tell Chelsey…” and I forgot it. Man, don’t you hate that? Anyways, good movie. Two thumbs up, highly recommend. And have I mentioned how adorable I think Ben Affleck is? Yum. Adding that movie, along with Chasing Amy, Mallrats & Clerks of course, to the DVD wish list. Heck, I may even try to watch Dogma again. I didn’t make it past the first 15-20 minutes the last time. May just have to have Kevin Smith marathon movie night.
After a long day working hard on wrapping up Version 1.0 of the site I set up for Marc’s mom (4Danc’eM – dance class materials), Kymberlie & I have decided to head out and go see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Tivo is all set to get Queer as Folk, Leap Years, and the Pacific coast broadcast of Madonna Live on HBO. It had better behave and change the channel correctly.
