I have, I haven’t, I do.

Thanks to Beth for her “quizlet” here – I couldn’t resist answering it.

1. I surf porn like LikeMyNudePhoto.com when nobody is looking. ROFL (Couldn’t think of anything better to include here)
2. I’ve been known to steal glasses from the Olive Garden (set of 8). And a set of salt & pepper shakers.
3. The one thing I would change about my body is my stomach – I wish it was more tone. (Actually going to the gym would help.)
4. I have kissed 3 girls. Not long passionate kisses, 2 was when I was too young to “know better” (like 4) and once was when I was drunk/high (one of the 3 times I have tried drugs) and I made my girlfriend kiss me goodbye before she left for home.
5. You’re on a desert island, You can only bring one person and one item. You’d bring Chelsey (if I picked someone else I would be in trouble) and … hmmm … I can’t decide. Cell phone? Laptop? Handspring? Tivo? Or just a good book?
6. I don’t smoke pot. Tried it two times and it was a horrid experience both times, amplifying every depressed thought I had. Ugh. I tried “X” once too, which was fun but I didn’t like the feeling of not being in control. That was 13 years ago. I’ll stick to Margaritas, thank you.
7. I’ve plagiarized before.
8. I cheated on a mate, and never told them.
9. I’ve lied when a friend asked “Do I look fat in this?” at some point in my life.
10. I am not a vegetarian, and I wear leather.

The Mists of Avalon

The Mists of Avalon will be on TNT this coming Sunday & Monday. I must remember to set the TV. The novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley has been one of my favorite books for the past 11 years, since I first read it in 1990. You know a book is good if you remember when you first read it. I have read it three or four times since then. I need to get the other books that are in the “series”, although it is supposedly not quite a series in that you can read them in any order – the same characters are in them though. One review of the film said that the book is a little better, but that is to be expected with a book as long as that one.

I Love New DVDs!

Ok, temptation got the best of me. Last night I went to Columbia House and ordered DVDs. Signed up for a membership for me and one for Jason – doesn’t everyone get two memberships? I ordered “Almost Famous”, “Men in Black: Limited Edition” (or whatever the “top of the line” one is), “Chicken Run”, “What Dreams May Come”, “Shanghai Noon”, “Rush Hour”, “Notting Hill”, “Friday”, and “The Kid”.

Somehow I guess I thought that wasn’t enough, so today I went to the local pawn shop which has DVDs for $10 each. Never know what you might find, but it’s a great deal and if anything is wrong with it you have 2 weeks to return it. Heck, for $10 I figure I can’t go wrong. So bought “The Mummy: Ultimate Edition” (2 disc set), “A Bug’s Life: Gold Collection” (something extra, don’t know what) and “Weekend at Bernie’s”. Then tonight (this is where I went overboard) I went to Blockbuster to see what Previously Viewed selections they had. I got “Meet the Parents” ($7.50), “The Hurricane” ($9.99), “Miss Congeniality” ($7.50), “The Green Mile” ($9.99) and “Bounce” (2 disc set, $12.99). At least they were all fairly cheap – “The Hurricane” was priced $14.99, “Miss Congeniality” was priced $12.99, and “Meet the Parents” was priced $9.99 – so the cheaper prices were a surprise!

Of the ones that I bought, I haven’t seen “The Green Mile”, “Bounce” and “Miss Congeniality”. I also have not seen “The Matrix” yet – I bought it last winter when I got my DVD player but haven’t ever watched it! I guess I have a lot of movie watching to do!

Laura’s New Pictures

Yeah! Laura added new pictures! Did I mention before that her beagles are absolutely precious in person? I am not a big dog person, although I want a Golden Retriever or Yellow Lab someday, but her dogs had me won over immediately when I visited her back in May. They are so sweet! Hmmm… maybe I should get a beagle instead? *grin* Jason & I will be going to see “Cats and Dogs” this weekend. I wonder if I will spot my cats in any of the character’s personalities.
