I was going to rant about NBC not replaying tonight’s Olympics. Last night the same thing that I had seen at 7pm aired again at 11pm or so. Tonight? Nope. I was getting “highlights” when I first turned on the TV. I was bummed too, since I had to work late and I had missed the Pairs Figure Skating finals. I already know who won (and Sale & Pelleteir were robbed) but I still want to watch it. Or rather Tivo it. I was really happy to see NBC replay the coverage at 12:45. Yeah! I get my skating! The Pairs are probably my favorite of the skating events, although I enjoy them all. I need to look and see what’s next … when are the Men’s Figure Skating events?
In Case You Haven’t Seen It…
Not only does Chris Pirillo have a blog (uh, you knew that already, didn’t you?) but so does Leo from The Screen Savers! Now if only Martin had a blog, then Robyn could begin her quest to hook me up with him so that she can be his wife-in-law. We all know that Todd and Michele are fighting over Megan after all…

The Next Agency…
Latest joke sent to me by my Dad has been posted over at Well, Slap Me Silly! (I hate to double post … so I’ll let you go there to read it.)
A Beautiful New Baby…
I failed to mention this the other day, but hopefully they were too sleepy to notice. My HUGE congratulations to my cousin Ken & his wife Kristen on the birth of their ADORABLE son, William Russell Kralick. He was born at 4:28 am, February 7, 2002 and is a wee one at 6lb 1oz and 18 and 1/4 inches long. (Considering Jason was 8lbs and 10 1/2oz when he was born, anything under 8lbs is super tiny to me!) Best of wishes to the new parents, the proud grandparents, and the rest of the family!
No Hiding From Me!
I just have to love Meryl for finding such precious gems as the Top 42 Funny Ways To Answer Your Phone. Next time I get a call that has “Unavailable” or “Out of Area” listed, I think I might just try one of these. “911, What’s your Emergency?”
On a sort of related note, just last night I remembered the time when I was in high school and some girl gave out “her” phone number, promising that if they drove by she would do a striptease for them. My parents knew I wasn’t involved, I was camping at Enchanted Rock for the weekend with my Geology class studying with the new software here http://www.ctech.com/geology-software/. She had a phone ad on one of those personal phone services (1987, before the web as we know it…) and the number that she gave out all weekend long was my house! Someone finally told them what was going on, and after awhile (and LOTS of phone calls) my parents decided to have some fun with it – telling guys that she had been killed in an accident and they just couldn’t believe that they were calling her or something along those lines. I think my mom may have even gone so far to have told some of the guys that it was her. Or given out bogus directions. It was pretty amusing in the end. Then again, I’m always easily amused…
