I was just talking the other day about the Frank Lloyd Wright house in Kankakee, Illinois, and now someone else has figured it out: “Bradley House special, expert says in new book”. I knew that 25 years ago. I always loved that house. I only got to eat there at the YesterYear Inn once, just a year or so before I moved to Houston, but I still think it will be a huge tragedy if they demolish the carriage house that is part of it. I can’t tell you how wonderful this place is, words won’t do it justice – but they should not be allowed to destroy it. It’s good to know that the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy is involved and not since it was “founded in 1989 has one of these historic structures been destroyed. In fact, no Wright- designed building has been destroyed in almost a generation.” It was one of Wright’s first “Prairie Style” designs.

I have missed, somehow, for over 2 years, the whole reason why Best Buy Sucks. I mean, I knew they sucked, but I just couldn’t put my finger on why, until now. (Ok, I am being silly here, I knew why they sucked too, but he says why better.) Kymberlie can return any DVD she wants at our local Best Buy with pretty much no questions asked. I tried to return one DVD, one week after my birthday, and three different people had to check my ID just to determine if I could return the $20 DVD. No, I didn’t have a receipt – it was a gift. See the birthdate on my ID? Yeah, a week ago. Amazing. Yes, I am pretty sure it’s from your store (and so what if it isn’t, it’s unopened and in pristine condition – just sell it!). Finally they gave in and let me return the DVD for a store credit. Amazing. Yep, Best Buy Sucks.

I just downloaded almost all of the freeware fonts over at Nick’s Fonts! These fonts look awesome! *sigh* Fonts… like crack but in a good way! I am such an addict!
