Friday Five!

Thanks to smattering, here is the Friday Five!

1. What’s on top of your refrigerator? a fake ivy plant in a basket, my recipe card box, and probably an inch of dust. Ewwww…

2. What’s your favorite meal of the day? Lunch, because it is a nice break from work and I get to visit with friends most of the time.

3. Wash dishes by hand or in the dishwasher? What detergent do you use? Dishwasher, and I have used Cascade forever…

4. How often do you eat out compared to eating in? I eat lunch out, except on the weekends when we sometimes eat at home (depends on if we are out running errands, etc.) I eat dinner in most of the time, except for the occassional Friday or Saturday night at a restaurant. Which has of course decreased dramatically since I became single!

5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? Camping at “Cub World” (part of Camp Strake) with a bunch of rowdy Cub Scouts. It is our annual “Puff Up Retreat” for the Catholic Commission on Scouting. Always a lot of fun, just wish we had the nice weather that we had last weekend instead of this nasty, muggy rain!

Dactylogical Reading … and Friends

Thank you sooooo much to Loni for sending me the information on FuDaRe: Foundation for Fundamental Dactylogical Reading. Yes, Dactylogical Reading – or as the site says, Reading Toes. “READING TOES is a method used to obtain self-knowledge and to analyse personalities and behaviour patterns by interpreting the position and shape of toes.” Gee, I wonder what my tootsies say about me? Wow, you can even read toes abroad!

On a different note, I just finished watching tonight’s friends. I got to the very end part, you know – the 1 minute clip after the commercial? And Tivo’s clock is a little different than “real time” so it turned off before I could see what happened! I don’t know if I missed something important or not. Tonight’s episode was REALLY good though, a lot funnier than last week. (I didn’t care for the season premiere at all.) I will say though, if Monica continues to have her whiney-ass attitude, I am going to have to and kick some butt. (Which would take me 1 kick, considering how tiny she is!) “I’m no longer the bride. I will never be the bride again.” DAMN. Shut up woman, be happy you have a good man and stop complaining about everything!

If anyone can e-mail me and tell me what I missed in the last clip – I know who ran into each other on the street, but I don’t know anything past that point. Help…..

You Decide … Terrorist or just a Nerd Boy?

Nerdboymikey was “profiled” by some idiot at his gym. (Oct. 3, 2001 post) Sorry, no “terrorist” look there, and more importantly – I agree with him. What are we going to do, run around and question anyone and everyone that doesn’t look plain-Jane “white”? That is just stupid. When McVeigh set off his bomb in OKC did we go after everyone that was from Michigan? No. That’s about how intellligent it is to go after everyone that is of Arab or “questionable” origins if you ask me. Just my opinion…
