1000 Down and Still Going Strong…

I just posted the 1000th photo to Picture Yourself. It has grown to a point that is amazing, and I am always surprised when new photos come in from around the globe. Thank you to everyone that has contributed in the past and who will do so in the future.

I also posted my first Lomoized image to Pixelog. The effect took a boring photo that was in my unused photo stack and make it perfect in it’s own special way.

Beautiful picture Christine! Did you do the lomo effect with PSP? If so, can you post or email how you did it? I too am stuck in the Stone Age and use PSP and I’m curious as to how the effects are done. =) Thanks!

I would e-mail you, but you use a fake e-mail address so I can’t! Eep! No, I never figured out how to do it with PSP. I did figure out how to do it with Photoshop, as you probably noticed in my later post. I don’t think they can be done in PSP. *sigh* (Ok, maybe PSP 8 – but I have PSP 5, and it’s not happening there.)

Congratulations!!! Great 1000th picture Christine! I’m still trying to figure out the lomoized actions. Silly question aside from doing it manually, is the cation downloadble. I couldn’t find the link to download it if it is…

Actually, the nospam email address is real. I just use it to leave comments with so I’m not bombarded with spam to my main email address which is the same but with “jenni” instead of “nospam.”

Hope that clears up some confusion! And that stinks that I can’t do it with PSP. =(

oh my goodness! we were away for the weekend and when i come back you’d hit 1000! i was so tickled to see that it was a photo you took at sxsw! congratulations on the 1,000! here’s to a gazillion more!
