I enjoyed visiting Here’s Bloggin’

I enjoyed visiting Here’s Bloggin’ At You Kid! today… and then I followed links off of her site to other sites, and before I know it too much time has passed. Gee, what will I be doing tonight? Surfing blogs! I love blogs… want me to read your blog? Just send me an e-mail and let me know! (I will do anything for blog-crack!)

Queen of no patience and

Queen of no patience and instant gratification… forget about waiting until after dinner. I did it NOW. I have used SSI to fill in the section there to the right. *Please* e-mail me if you don’t see anything over there! Hopefully it is cross-platform compatible, but I can’t check it on a Mac or on Netscape on a PC until tomorrow. If it’s broken, HELP! Thanks! If it works just fine – I am *so* excited!!! That was easy – why didn’t I do it a long time ago?

I also added Meet the FMPs (Frequently Mentioned People) and Blogistory (Where did it come from?). Tonight I will finish transcribing my notes on the Oprah show (Dr. Phil on losing weight, but can be applied to life overall) and also maybe add some of my journal pages from the retreat I attended in January. Also adding some of the blogs I like to visit so that you can too.

I couldn’t pass up the

I couldn’t pass up the Are You an Optimist or a Pessimist? test today. The result?

Congratulations! You’re the eternal optimist, a regular “Sunshine Day” of a person. When it rains, you think about how good the water is for the flowers and trees rather than how wet you’re getting. More likely to trust someone than not, you always see the good in people. Sure, that opens you up for a few let-downs, but that’s okay — your great attitude will help you deal with them if and when they come. In the long run, it doesn’t really matter at all; everything’s going to be all right! You like meeting new people and thoroughly enjoy their companionship. In a nutshell, you just don’t dwell on small failures — you learn from your mistakes and do your best to make everyone around you happy to be alive. Keep it up!

Yep. It drives people nuts when I am “down” it seems – they just don’t expect it of me. I had better get out of eMode.com now, otherwise I will be stuck there for hours.

I think I finally have those SSI’s figured out, so I am going to save everything that is here and then do some testing. I would like to use SSI’s for that list of links to the right, it will make it a lot easier to keep it up to date on all the pages. So far my testing has gone well, so after dinner I will try it on the live blog!

I love the “To all

I love the “To all the moms…” quote that Julie added on Valentine’s Day. It made me a little misty even (ok, that’s not that hard to do, I know, but still…) Hey Julie, it’s ok to have those “Bad Mom” days. It happens to all of us! I can relate, I was having one last night at the mall. It is so much fun to go shopping for girly things with an 8 year old boy! Hahaha… But we survived. We always do. Tonight he is going with me & my friend Tom to my friend Sandra’s house for dinner. I haven’t seen Sandra & her husband Henry since their wedding in September, so I am really excited to have the chance to see them! You know, I need to try to have a life more often. (I heard that Chelsey…)

Oh my. I haven’t mentioned

Oh my. I haven’t mentioned Naomi here in days! Ack! I am soooo sorry Naomi. Please don’t think I no longer love you. Matter of fact, thank you *SO* much for your support last night in my moment of weakness when I almost called the Insignificant Other. Yes, it would have been a horrid mistake and I don’t know what I was thinking. Good thing you were able to rescue me.

Know what else I didn’t bother to mention here? That the Rodeo on Tuesday was a lot of fun. Clay Walker is adorable. I still can’t believe he didn’t come get me from my seat and ask me to marry him. What was he thinking? Doesn’t he know how wonderful I am? And he lives just north of me here in Houston, so the move would be easy. Ummmm… so what if he has a wife. I’ll share. (Not in to that normally, but for Clay, anything.) It was great to be able to spend time with Chelsey and Doug, and hopefully she will someday forgive me for making her endure the torture of riding the bus to the Rodeo just for me. I love you, Cheesy! What would I do without you? Thanks for hooking me up with tickets, and I would do it again any time for you. By the way, thank you also for your countless hours (years!!!) of support on that Insignificant Other issue. There are many days where I don’t know where I would be without you kicking me in the butt. You ROCK!!! Call me on 911, I’ll get it.
