Chelsey sent me an e-mail this morning. She is convinced that I know everything, and whatever I don’t know I can always find online. Normally, I prove that she is right, but this time I couldn’t do it. So now I am looking for help. This is what she wrote:
um, i’m trying to remember a poem, saying, bible verse, inspirational blurb, i’m not sure what… something about the most important thing in life is not the end goal, but the journey… (?) does this ring any bells with you?
I wrote her back and said “Are you sure it isn’t “Enjoy the Ride?” Oh, no, wait – that’s the Nissan or Mitsubishi commercial.” She wasn’t amused. She wants to know the full quote, the actual saying. “All of it, in it’s entirety.” Then she called me a dork. I guess that’s what I get for being a smartass. Anyways, now I need to find it. I said it was something like “It’s not the destination, but the journey.” She said there is more to it then that. Hmmm. Any idea?
