Seems she needs to learn how to spell. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – there is no “red” in ridiculous. You may get red when you feel that way, but there is no red in the word. I guess she doesn’t know that since she is busy doing important “stuf” and all that. Poor thing.
Ashcroft, Evans Resign From Bush Cabinet.
Really? Seriously? This isn’t an April Fool’s day joke, right? No, no, it’s November. Can’t be a joke. But I’m stunned. Ashcroft resigned. I think I might cry.
Oh, and when I say “Get out!!!” I do it with the Elaine shove and everything. It doesn’t work otherwise.
Yeah, when they were talking about him and resignations (before I knew what was going on), I was like, “Would be great if he resigned,” and my mom said he did. I had to go rewind it to celebrate.

Ashcroft is NOT going to be nominated for the Supreme Court. I am glad that he resigned because he is way too controversial. I do like the nominee that Bush picked to replace him. I think that Gonzalez will make a good AG. Although, Bush won’t get any credit for continuing to have the most ethnically diverse cabinet of all freaking time!

So, could this day get any better? As if I wasn’t giddy enough already, I just got my notification that Pixelog is a finalist in the SXSW Interactive awards in the Weblog category! I’m so excited I can barely type!

Dude, check it out! Al’s Journal – Al Roker has a blog! I loved the pictures in his photo section too. I’ve checked out his cartoons in the past. But I’m thrilled that he has a blog! [via Bona Fide Cynic]

That is just so cool. I’m not usually into the “celebrity” blogs – but he’s pretty down to earth from what I can tell… Neat!!!
Oh I had to blogroll Al. Al’s my man. I heart me some Al. If he and Ann Curry were ever to be the Today Show “It” team, I’d watch all 10 hours of it a day. (Or however long they’ve made it lately.)

Still trying to catch up on reading blogs, I discover that there was a call made to Dori’s publisher by Warner Brothers. They want to feature her new Java 2 book on an episode of The Sopranos. Get out! No way! Now that would be way too cool. At the same time it leaves me curious – how would they write in a Java book to a Sopranos story line? Are they using some wild code to hack the web? Hmmm… Well, I hope it happens for Dori. That would be wonderful!
Hmm… that is weird how they might incorporate it into the Soprano storyline, but how wonderful for Dori to have her book featured on such a hot show!

*GASP* I’m about 30 minutes behind on the news thanks to Tivo and pausing to respond to e-mails and stuff, but GET OUT! First I am watching Jaime Sale saying how you can never let someone take away your dreams, and that they skate for the love of skating. “Sure, we’re disappointed, but you know that going into the sport” sort of thing. Then Bob Costas returns (that man really bugs me) and says “The French judge has said that she was forced to make a deal to vote for the Russians in return for a vote for the French Ice Dancing team.” And who was the swing vote last night? Yep, the French Judge. Although it seems that USA Today has a different take on it.
Wow. And you thought the Olympics were boring.
That said, I really enjoyed Elvis Stojko’s skate just now. It wasn’t perfect, but … the spirit really shined through. It made me smile. The presentation was great! I’m putting my money on Yagudin and Goebel. Not sure which one will get first, so I’ll pick both.
I was hoping you saw that! It even made our local news just now — they expanded on it a bit more. Completely disgusting!

David Gagne, of davidgagne.net (amazing how that works, huh?), was on the new daily version of The Weakest Link! Get out! Isn’t that like cooler then cool? So, anyways … I am lucky. If it is airing today – well, we don’t get it during the daytime in Houston, we get it at night! So guess what I will be Tivo’ing? Yep, you got it! I will say, I will miss the annoying British host. I liked her.
Oh, why do we get the daytime shows at night? Well, I don’t know the full history behind it, but the local NBC affiliate here has some issue with Conan O’Brien. So we get that show at 1:30 in the morning or some time like that. Conan has even come to Houston in search of someone, anyone watching his show. One of the few episodes I have seen, thanks to the odd hour – it was pretty hysterical as they searched bus terminals, U of H campus, and so forth desperately looking for just one viewer. So “The Weakest Link” is on at 11:35pm. David, I will get it on Tivo I will send you a tape!
