Whoo hoo! One of my co-workers, Scott, just offered me two tickets for tonight’s Houston Aeros game! Section 101, Row B, seats 7 and 8. Right behind the goal! To quote him, they are “just about the best seats in the house”! I’m going to take Jason – it will be a blast! I’ve never been to a hockey game, so this will be fun!
Kymberlie and I headed over to Fazoli’s for lunch today. Yes, yes, nothing like lots of carbs when you’re already feeling tired and run down. Anyways, as we stood in line waiting to place our order we noticed the sign on the oven with pictures of breadsticks. The ones on the left were light golden colored – you could almost feel them melting in your mouth. The ones in the middle were darker, and the ones on the right were burnt. So we realized then and there that we are leftist. We like our breadsticks lightly golden, please. Yum, yum. Of course I make the mistake of telling the kid behind the counter this and totally confused him. Even after we both attempted to explain it. Oh well, I knew what I meant. And in the end our breadsticks were quite good – just like I like them!
I crashed last night. I was probably asleep by 11pm. I slept straight through to 8am this morning, and I am still exhausted. Everything feels like it is taking a huge amount of effort to do – just typing an e-mail to a client is draining. This is not a good feeling. I want to go home, put on my jammies, and curl back up in bed! Ugh. I need to find some energy & find it fast … I have a lot to do today! Hmmm… maybe some caffeine will help. Off to the fridge!
We returned from San Antonio a little while ago. Unfortunately, we didn’t go through Austin so Nicole couldn’t stand by the road and wave at me. We took I-10 all the way. The meetings both went really well and they are both exciting projects, although one of them is huge exciting. But … shhhh … I don’t want to jinx them! I am exhausted after spending 7 hours in the car so I am going to go unwind and watch some Men’s Figure Skating. w00t!

When I opened my e-mail last night I found three Valentines. There was one from Erika, one from Robyn and one from Jennifer. Damn, do you guys know me or what? YOU ROCK! Totally made my day to open those. I could not stop laughing! Thank you!
Wow, did I go over 24 hours without making a post? Get out. Well, pressed for time, we are heading to San Antonio shortly to go meet with two different potential clients. 3+ hours in the car each way. I have gotten so much work moved out of the way this week, hopefully I will be able to finish the last of it today. I can’t tell you how happy that would make me! But I had to stop & take a moment to wish everyone a HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!
