Bush Blames Poorly Made Shirt for Bulge…

” After television cameras showed a box-shaped bulge on his back during the first presidential debate, Internet bloggers wondered whether Bush had been wired to receive help with his responses from aides” – Bush Blames Poorly Made Shirt for Bulge

It always amuses me when news articles talk about breaking news that bloggers uncover. I know this isn’t the first time this has happened; it just catches my eye whenever it does. I remember back when people used to hear the word “blog” or “blogger” and think you were some crazy person with a website. Now, I hear about bloggers on Leno and Letterman.

It’s just so strange.

As for the article – yeah, a poorly made shirt causes a box-like bulge on your back. Right. That’s happened to all of us, hasn’t it? *rolling my eyes* Sure.

Lie Girls…

I think the tagline of “You’re just a phone call away from HOT one-on-one chat with a few Weapons of Mass… Seduction” says it all. Be sure to check out the Lie Girls. They will tell you just what you want to hear. (NOT work safe.) [via Matt]

Two columns with color…

CSS still makes my eyes bleed, but someday I might try to tackle two columns with color. Someday. [via Kristine with a K]

Love is in the Air!

Ahhhhhh… what a great day Saturday was!

Kenny & Elaine celebrated their wedding anniversary. They are such a wonderful couple – it’s a honor to know them and I know they will have many happy years ahead.

Boy & Girl got engaged! Whooo hooo!!! Such exciting news! Their love for one another just shines. It is nice to be around.

But the big event of the day (for 2004)? Emily & KW got married in Las Vegas! I declared myself their honorary bridesmaid (she declared herself my honorary bridesmaid), coordinated her hen night, went and had a pedicure with Emily last week, and had lunch with both of them on Thursday – and that was it. No truly ugly bridesmaid dress, or tons of expenses. How great is that? Seriously though, I was a glad to be a part of their big day, even in a small way.

Ahhhh… so many wonderful futures ahead for all of them. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it!
