Houston Weather Blog…

I see blue sky! I see blue sky! Some of the clouds have finally cleared and I see blue sky! One of my co-workers just commented that she heard on the news that since February 1 we have had 24 overcast days and 21 days with rain – and I believe it. It really effects my mood when it’s like that – but right now I see blue sky!

Hmmm… I’m starting to wonder if I should change the URL for this site, or maybe add a weather category?

But I Want to Take Pictures…

It seems that leaving Houston and heading to Austin for SXSW isn’t enough to help me escape the cloudy weather. Oh no, the National Weather Service is promising things like a chance of thunderstorms on Sunday. This should be interesting – I need to remember to pack my rain poncho!

By the way, if you haven’t contacted me already and you want me to accept your Bloggie on your behalf or give out a prize for you, please let me know! I have a feeling I’m going to be like Vanna White, up on the stage all the time!

The Haze…

Gah! I hate days like today – it’s so cloudy and icky outside that I am literally sitting in a cloud. I can see the building right across the street from mine and nothing more. I want my view back! Anything but this dreary haze day after day…

(I’ll post pictures here tonight.)

Where Does My Time Go…

Trial. Documents. Request for Disclosure. Request for Production. Responses. Billing. Motions. Experts. Depositions. Production. Hearings. Orders. Motions. Special Exceptions. Rulings. Interrogatories.

That describes my week. Multiply it all by about 20, though. I went to my first trial on Friday. It’s nothing like it is on Law & Order. Oh no … there they can wrap it all up in a 1 hour episode. At this trial, 3 hours later and we weren’t even finished with the first witness for the Plaintiff. Oh yes, it’s going to be a fun week…

A Moment of Inspiration…

I just tore the last of the February pages off of my page-a-day calendar at work, and I was greated with a great quote to start off March:

“You must do the things you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
