New Faces…

Updated Picture Yourself, and it always amazes me to see such a diverse global selection. Andrea in Spain, Jon-Erik at the Great Wall of China when they went to adopt their daughter, JM in Normandy, France, Lando in Italy, Elsatiph in Portugal, Connie in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Sirio in London, England – and that’s only within the 15 or so most recent photos on the site.

Reason No. 753…

Reason No. 753 to love the Tivo? I forgot that the season premiere of Queer As Folk was tonight at 9pm CST. But the Tivo remembered for me thanks to my Season Pass, so it didn’t matter that I forgot. Whee! I love Tivo!

Really, I Don’t Need It…

Dear Spammers:

I’m not sure why you insist on sending me such crap via e-mail. I don’t need viagra. I don’t need to make my penis 3 inches longer. Matter of fact, I’m a female, so I *really* don’t have a need for either of those products, but thanks for asking. I don’t want to get a diploma online. I’m glad you think my resume is excellent, but I seriously doubt you’ve ever seen it. I don’t want to meet a nice woman in another country. I don’t need toner cartridges for my printer. I don’t need any of your crap, thank you very much.

Now I’ll be heading on over to Hiveware’s Enkoder Form and hopefully it will protect my e-mail address a little bit better. I’m tired of deleting all this spam. (Although I have to admit it – sometimes the porn spam is funny.)

Sincerely,
Christine

Marvelous March!

Robyn pointed out last that February sucked for a lot of people, and she’s even taking submissions to show how you are escorting February out the door. For me personally, February wasn’t a bad month. I can’t even begin to tell you just how much I love my new job, which I started (officially) in February. That said, I have to point out GeekGrrl’s addition to all of this – tell us and show us how you are having a Marvelous March!

I am all about looking at things from the positive perspective, so I’ll be working on this tomorrow or Sunday.

Speaking of positive things – get your groove on and head on over to Michele’s to help raise money for Operation Troop Trax! She’s taking up a collection and using the funds to buy used CDs to send to the troops overseas. Get the rest of the details here.

Now THAT Would be Interesting…

As if Bush isn’t having enough problems with the UN these days, could you imagine if he had to meet with Secretary-General Clinton? Just the thought of it makes me laugh. Loud. Over and over, in that manic sort of way… [via My Irony]
