I’m Not Sharing my Bud Light…

I’m telling you, stuff like this only happens in Texas. “I told Willie not to take my last beer…” It’s a beer. Buy more. Crazy people. Crazy people with guns scare me.

Meanwhile, I’m curious as to what the outcome will be on the ruling about sodomy and gays. Call me silly, but I don’t think the government belongs in my bedroom. Ever. They have no right to declare sex between consenting adults illegal.

A Dedication…

I just have to dedicate today’s Dilbert to Kymberlie. You have my cell phone number, right? You can call me whenever you need me… [pointed out to me by Mike]

Strange Search Requests…

I’m not sure which one of these recent searches is stranger: “I keep thinking that today would be the perfect day if you were here. You know… when its too cold to go outside so you just stay at home and cuddle up with your honey and we could decorate the tree and drink hot cocoa and watch the dogs play in the snow” or “on what website can i find fatty big eye“. Is the first one a line from a song or something? And why would you want to see a fatty big eye?

Needless to say, the other 18 most recent searches are for the word “blah” as usual.

What Fun!

Donna posted a link in Jennifer’s comments about the Stocking Stuffers at The Container Store. They are all so wonderful! Those Pontiki Pals would be a fun gift for an office gift swap, the Clip-On Laptop Light has me drooling, the Magnetic Vanity Mirrors are adorable, and there are a ton of other ones that are great! *le sigh* Why can’t I go shopping tomorrow while I’m down at the Galleria?

Best of Wishes…

Best of wishes to GeekGrrl and her man A as they get married on Friday! Ahhh… a love brought together over the Internet, miles apart … and now it’s finally the big day! Congratulations to you!

Remember what I said … BREATH. In the end, when all is said and done, no one will worry about the little details as much as you might think – and the whole point of the day is to CELEBRATE your love for one another. I’ve seen too many brides ruin their own day worrying about the fact that a bridesmaid didn’t do her hair right or that her flowers were the wrong shade of pink when she should have focused on the party that was going on around her. Enjoy the moment, celebrate your future life together, and have fun! (Oh, and sorry to hear that your best man has the flu – glad you have an usher to fill in as backup!)
