When Mike was moving in to the house in May, Jason’s project was to pick up all the coins he could find in Mike’s apartment and put them in a box. We ended up moving a large, heavy box of coins. The box was placed in the dining room and just left there. Since May.
I’m clearing out the dining room (so I have a crafty area), and I decided last night to finally sort out the box of coins. Jason and I got out a bunch of large plastic bowls and started sorting away. We have a HUGE bowl now of American coins, and about £ 30 of British coins, and maybe 20 Euros. (Yeah, money that would have been handy back in June, huh? Good thing Emily is going overseas soon.)
Then we got a coin sorter and coin rolls, and we started rolling the money. We’re rich! We’re rich! Ok, not really. But there is a heck of lot of money in there.
But before I started rolling all the quarters, I realized that there are people out there that have been looking for the state quarters from the Denver mint. (You know, the ones with the “D” on the front.) We’ve got them here! We probably have all of them, and many are in really good shape. So if you need quarters, they are yours – for the price of a quarter and a stamp to mail them off with. Let me know!
I’ll be rolling them all by Tuesday and taking them to the bank, so hurry and let me know!

It’s amazing how fast coins around the house can add up!
