I opened up my e-mail to be surprised by the message that my hosting account has been set up for my new domain, hosted by Earthlink. Well, that’s nice … but there is one problem. The person that signed up for this domain and everything else misspelled his e-mail address. Meaning I got his e-mail, instead of him. It’s a domain I actually don’t own! The e-mail has all of the log-in and FTP information for the new site … I think I will just have to put a “Lost & Found” ad up there:

Dear Fallan: You misspelled your e-mail address. I got your e-mail. Please contact me and I will send the information on to you. Rewards accepted. Christine

My luck though? I would be busted for hacking or something like that. They would say I broke into their domain. Considering they registered a URL too, I guess I could just wait for the whois to update and contact them that way. *sigh* But that’s just not as fun!

I went to meet with a potential client today – the new Harley dealership in town. Let me just say, that dealership is SWEET! The building is so awesome. It’s simply gorgeous and the perfect showcase for those beautiful motorcycles. I’m normally not a big motorcycle fan, just not my thing … until today. I have no balance and traffic in Houston is horrid – I would pretty much guarantee that I would die if I owned one, but I want one now! They are gorgeous! Oh, the site we could design for them … it would be awesome! Yes, that is all I can think about right now. I am 100% focused on the chrome.

Just read my horrorscope for today … “You should be feeling especially romantic and sensual at this time, Christine, and you might find yourself drawing admiring glances from the men around you – even strangers. Your level of passion is high, and so this is an excellent day to plan a romantic evening. You could also be feeling especially creative, and could well want to spend your day in some sort of artistic activity. Go to it!”

Hmmmm… but I don’t have anyone to feel sensual and romantic with. *pout* But on the other hand, the latest “skin” design is in my mind and will be laid out tonight probably – this weekend at the latest. I’m really excited about it! So there is the creativity coming out. I think I’ll add to the Pixelog too … Unless I suddenly find someone to spend that romantic time with and it distracts me!

It is Mr. Potato Head’s 50th Anniversary. Pointed out to me over lunch at the 59 Diner by Kymberlie. Yummm… tasty food! Also, did you know that Castro had tried out to be a baseball player in the 40’s? I never knew that. Once again, she is a bevy of information. Just don’t bother trying to follow our train of thought – while we are right on track, you might end up feeling like you derailed.

By the way, is it a coincidence that it is also Ronald Reagan’s birthday today too?

Yes, I intentionally did not watch the Superbowl. I did so for a reason… Maybe next year the Superbowl will be what it is supposed to be – a big party with all of your friends. This year it was just another Sunday, and I spent it at home enjoying quiet time with Jason. Right where I wanted to be.
