Dvorakblog…

After he slammed on blogs the last time, now he’s writing about us again. Yes, the mighty Dvorak has written up a lovely article, Deconstructing the Blog, where he takes the time to give us his very own “Eight Rules for the Perfect Blog”. Whatever Dvorak, be as snarky as you like – I think it’s all just a ploy to get people to know your name. A non-blogger, you were so left out of the growing blog community, you wanted to find some way in. Whatever. (Yes, the article is from April 2, the day my blog was lost in cyberspace. Everyone else has probably already read this article but me. Sorry, I was movin’ sites!) [via Blogatelle]

wow, that article was… interesting. i feel dirty now. must shower and make new style sheet. cause you know, font size matters. 😉

ps – am taking myself very seriously from now on.

Wow… he’s quite the authority. I guess that’s why he has his own TV show… err… wait… that was cancelled… I forgot. Lest we forget, the ones with the blogs kept their shows. Chris, Leo, Cat, etc…

Am I the one missing something obvious here? I didn’t think so.

I’m with Portia. I think I should begin taking myself ever so terribly seriously. I think I’ll even begin spelling ‘women’ as ‘wymyn’. I’m still at a loss as to how simple vowel replacement is indicative of male bashing or man hating.

*yawn*

May I puke on him, please? Just the arrogance he exhibits in his little “rules” make me sick. What an ass. (Sorry to use rule #4 Rich Language, but I think that “ass” is the appropriate term for him).

Every time a “journalist” writes about blogs, they assure themselves a large readership. There are so many bloggers now who are eager to read any article about it, whether positive or negative. I think that when a writer has nothing to say, they just dump on bloggers. It’s easy to do, and makes them look like their opinion is important.
