Feedback Time!

Don’t you just love it when I ask for your feedback? I really do want to know what you think. So here are a few things to ponder:

:: Cookie Crumbs: Do you even look at them? Did you notice that you can even comment on them? Do you subscribe to the RSS feed for them?

:: Pixelog: Have you looked at it? Do you link to it? Or do you just visit when I tell you in the posts to go there or if you click on a thumbnail at the top of this page? Would you like a skin here that featured the most recent post there? (Oops! The Pixelog domain got messed up in the move! You can access it for now here, although it doesn’t look quite perfect.)
:: Speaking of Skins, should I add more? What would you like to see? I know a lot of people have said they miss my old “Venice” skin, and I might bring it out of retirement – with independent living in la mesa across the top, just to confuse people! Any others you want to see?

:: Are you participating in Make Me Smile? Why not?

Thank you for participating in this survey. Who knows, you might be eligible for great prizes! I have some goodies I could give away here… plastic sporks and things like that!

I subscribe to the RSS feed for Crumbs.

I’ve been taking photos all weekend, but for a special project of my own. As I get more into doing my own photography, I may start doing some of the photo memes and reading/watching other photo blogs.

I am, of course, subscribed to your Crumbs RSS feed… and I have a suggestion: The RSS headlines link to your individual Crumby entries instead of to the link you are posting. The net result is that I have to jump to your site (like /crumbs/archives/005305.html ) before then clicking the link and getting where you’ve pointed me.

Another suggestion: your titles contain a hyperlink to the page you’re pointing to, but that makes the HTML title tag on your archive pages hinky. Use <$MTEntryTitle remove_html=”1″$> to clean that up.

I have to admit, I haven’t looked at the cookie crumbs yet. I wasn’t sure what they were, actually! But now I will go and read them, I promise.

I have looked at pixelog. I haven’t linked to it but I like to wander through it when I have time.

I plan on participating in Make Me Smile. I’m already planning on what to post on Monday from my weekend.

I check your cookie crumbs … I love link lists and find myself more likely to follow links from them than those in full posts. (I’ve been thinking of adding one somewhere myself, ever since discovering them on Kottke and WhatDoIKnow.)

I only check Pixelog when you say it’s been updated – mainly cause the thumbnails are a bit small so I’m never sure if I’ve seen the pictures they link to or not.

As for skins, I’m perfectly happy with the grey background one. It’s simple and functional enough for me. 😉 I haven’t yet decided whether I’ll participate in Make Me Smile – I went on a photo safari today, but it was just general photos, no theme. 🙂 I probably won’t participate cause there’s several “projects” I’d like to get done this weekend – agghhh, when did my life become so insane?!

1. yes, I look at the cookie crumbs. probably not every time I visit, but definitely at least once every 3 days or so…because they generally tend to be interesting.
2. I don’t look at pixelog as much as I should? again, it’s something that I just don’t remember to do. I think having the most recent post shown there would be cool because I would know when it was updated, although there are plenty of old pictures that I’ve never looked at and if one catches my eye I hop over there.
3. I’m not really a skin person, tend to go with default, but whatever floats your boat.
4. hmm, potentially? i did read about it yesterday but then forgot until i woke up at noon today…but definitely grabbed some pictures with my camera I like this afternoon, so…potentially.
sorry for typing so much:)

Cookie crumbs: not really, just did and am going to be taking down my cafepress store… grr!
Pixelog: I hadn’t been, but now with my own photoblog, I’ve created a blogroll for it and will be stalking you all!
skins: love ’em… love new ones, too! heck I love new ones for my site (hint, hint!)
Make Me Smile: now way I wouldn’t… I practically mowed down three customers running out to get my camera at the gas station today… couldn’t bear to miss the moment!

I enjoy the Cookie Crumbs, but I don’t always remember to look.
I check out Pixelog whenever you mention an update and occasionally in between just in case I missed something. You take great pictures.
I’m always for more skins – I like to change looks every once in a while to suit my mood. 🙂

Do you have a RSS feed for Pixelog? I would like to add it to my Newsdesk feedreader. I checked out the site and didn’t see a feed link.

Cookie Crumbs: I am a horrible person, I never noticed that they were there. I tend to ignore sidebars and just read the “meat” of a blog. My issue.
Pixelog: Yes, I go there when you mention in an entry about new pics over there. Again, a “meat of the blog” thing.
Skins: I usually don’t bother to change my default skins. One day at work though, I switched your site to skin #3 (the pink one). I do love it, and the font you use there is nice. 🙂 On my home computer, it’s the default.
Make me smile: I want to, and when I get my rolls of film back on Monday, I’m going to try to scan & post something. Better late than never, right? 🙂

1. I read the cookie crumbs, very cool.
2. Pixelog, I like it but I usually forget until you remind me of new photos in your posts.
3. Skins, eh, take or leave em. I generally let the owner of the site pick how they want it to look (unless I just can’t read it)
4. Yes, I participated in make me smile, but I only got 3 shots :o( Good intentions…

re. feedback:

*Cookie Crumbs: I keep forgetting about them.

*Pixelog: I’m always looking at it going “where are the new photos, hurry up!” 🙂

*I never bother w/ skins. I like the default one, or I read blogs w/ NewzCrawler, or I download them to my palm and read them later (BlogPluck).

*I wanted to participate in “make me smile” but just forgot, was busy so my mind was not focused. I love participating in stuff like that though.
