Sign me up! Oh, wait, I guess you aren’t taking orders. I wonder how this will work — will they restrict you to keeping only 3 Netflix movies on your TiVo at any given time? Either way, it is the beginning of the end for traditional media delivery — watch out media monopolies! (Not that the movie studios aren’t monopolies, but still.)
I think this is great! The reason I haven’t signed up for NetFlix is that it’s 20 a month and I don’t rent enough movies for it to be worth it. I wonder if it will still be a monthly fee thing once this is in place or if they will let you pay per movie. hmmmmm.
Well, I can’t sign you up for the TiVo, but if you buy one be sure to tell them that I referred you! (Christine AT bpc.) I believe they will still only allow 3 movies at a time (unless you upgrade to the more expensive plans.) It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
